More Corinda and Sherwood Trains 4th April 2024

Despite the inclement weather, I had another visit to Sherwood and Corinda toady. I missed 2816 at Sherwood with an intermodal train headed for Acacia Ridge by a few minutes. The first train videoed from just north of Sherwood station, was PN002 setting off for the north with lots of containers. Then I moved to the shelter of platform 4 at Sherwood station. There was at least one, maybe two other train watchers at Sherwood station. Loco 2901 surprised me by pulling the Westlander down the suburban line. Next two light engines (2485H & 2414) came through the main up line headed for Ipswich Workshops. I moved to Corinda, which seems to be a popular spot for train watchers too. Hi Neil! Nice to meet you. Three coal trains came through Corinda , two loaded and one empty. 2703 and 2303D with coal from Cameby Downs, 2313D and 2322D with empties to Toowoomba and 2310D & 2200F with Coal from Jondaryn.
