Let's take an "adventure" into Dolby Surround™ from the highly acclaimed Video High Density Disc. This VHD disc contains an analog two-channel process which provides front stereo and mono surround. To fully enjoy this adventure, play this video through a compatible Dolby Surround™ amplifier and speakers. This is also compatible with Pro Logic™ and Pro Logic II™ set ups.
This is from a 1980s vinyl video record which is read by a stylus. The disc is slightly warped resulting in some waves in the video.

just ran it through a dolby cp 45 cinema processor and it worked very thru the onboard 2:4 channel decoder was cool to watch the individual channel signal lights jump around when it switched

For the folks that are getting this UA-cam video to decode on a Dolby decoder, how is the encoding making it past all the UA-cam encoding etc?

It’s the magic of Dolby, all you need are 2 stereo channels and Dolby does the rest.
