I was curious about the bluetooth resistance changer on the Echelon. For some reason I dislike using the knobs on these types of bike. Any experience with it?
I just ordered an Echelon EX5. I didn't want to be tied into an ecosystem or even a screen, esp. since I have an iPad. I do subscribe to the Peloton app, though, so it feels like the best of both worlds.
I just converted to the Peleton after 3 years on Echelon 4-X (crank arm broke and repair process took over 4 weeks). Big plus on Peleton are the instructors, also the large and use-to-use touch screen. So far, absolutely loving the Peleton and wondered why I didn't switch earlier.

Yea peloton is junk, not only is the product junk they are on their 4th round of employee layoffs. E for me.
I like my money so not the Pelton
Depends on the value though. My echelon has broken 4 times in 6months and is generally garbage. I hate it.
I've had my Echelon for 2 years, it's been absolutely carefree and awesome. No problems whatsoever. @@JamesDempsey-c3z

I'd love to hear your experience after using it for a while! - Linds
