    Absolutely stunning car.... the looks are to die for. The shape reminiscent of the original 250gt California, fantastic quality, bang up to date gearbox, and amazing to drive.
    It Sounds utterly glorious. The noise Is just orgasmic.
    It Does the GT thing perfectly...
    If you are not a track day warrior, this is the ULTIMATE Ferrari.
    It’s absolutely, utterly brilliant...

    I know it sounds a little stupid but this car reminds me on the GTO of 60s , For sure one of the Most beautiful Ferraris ever built , i have no Fetish for Ferrari but the California and Maranello are awesome.

    This video is old considering that time f12 was in pre production stage.

    The CTS-V wagon is not this fast. It has a 0-60 of 4.2. The CTS-V has a 0-60 of 3.9. This reviewer mentioned 0-62 (or 0 to 100 km), not 0-60, as being 3.8, which makes this car faster.

    I'd still pick the 2011 R8 V10 over this but this is more prettier and flashier obv for sure. Just the sound is not my liking

    I wish to have it with manual!
    I don't care how comfortable is as auto in town
    аnd even more disinterested how fast the double clutch change gears because I don't think this few milliseconds give me same trill and rewarding as manual change and proper work with pedals!

    • @theyamanote
      @theyamanote 10 років тому +7

      The California was available with a 6-speed manual transmission from 2010 to 2012. They sold exactly 2 vehicles with the manual.
      Were you one of those two buyers? If not, then no wonder Ferrari don't offer the manual any more. They tried to cater to everyone who swore up and down they'd only ever buy the car with a 6MT but the actual buyers all chose the dual-clutch. Funny how that works, eh?

    • @BenzinioB
      @BenzinioB 10 років тому +1

      yamanote Unfortunately I'm not... I'm just a fen which hopes that manual would never die! And it is so pity people are too lazy these days and prefer autos :(

    • @musicisfree91
      @musicisfree91 10 років тому

      yamanote That's a shame. In a car people use on the track I get the double clutch thing but on a purely road car a manual is just more fun.

      ***** The only crap I see is the paddle shifter drivers - they are too lazy, and obvious too stupid to deal with proper manual!!!

      It’s a GT car... about 50k cheaper and WAY more practical... that’s why. 👍

    I love everything except the stacked exhaust, other than that it's a great GT car...which is what Ferrari started out making.

    • @nickchatburn
      @nickchatburn 4 роки тому +1

      Terrance Collins disagree totally... I love the the stacked exhaust. Makes it more exotic and different. Nearly every other super car on the p,a net has side by side. It’s good to be different

      It's the only stock car to ever have this feature. It's good to be unique in an automotive world that is becoming more and more bland.

      A lot of people crash their first cars, including me. Hope he's careful. All of that power with very little road experience, well, theres a reason why insurance is so expensive.

    How inappropriate the word 'cheapest' was used to describe a Ferrari? it is a huge humiliation for a Ferrari. 'Inexpensive' would be much suitable.

    Man why u gotta be so mean, were not fighting damn, and I wouldn't call that a Supercar, if you call that a Supercar than my Wagon also is because It can blow it away, and I also have an Aftermarket exhaust that turns everyone's heads and sounds so amazing, so amazing that you couldn't even hear that Ferrari, oh and I absolutely Love Ferrari's Just not this one! I was just stating a fact :)

    I Didn't say better once, said faster, Do you get what I am trying to say! I would much rather have the Ferrari over my Cadillac, But I was just pointing out that it is faster and is almost as good in the corners, and its less than half the price!

    • @herranton
      @herranton 6 років тому

      sateanjing Nope. Very few cars will get you laid. Your best bet is a Miata. Yes, I'm serious. People might bitch and moan about how it is a girly car and whatever, but that is the point. Bitches LOVE miatas. They see Ferraris as a loud crass pita thing that will fight for their attention.
      You need something _really_ expensive, like over $1 million USD, to actually get pussy on the spot. And at that point it is just because you are flaunting cash and you will probably end up with a bunch of STDs...

    • @mattbudesa3038

    Much more suitable yes. But it's still factually correct, it is the cheapest Ferrari currently on sale. Calm yourself.

  • @oooining
    @oooining 10 років тому

    Faster doesn't mean better! Your station wagon might be faster in a straight line, how about corners? a so-called non-supercar Ferrari will catch up your station wagon very soon in corners. Every car can have an aftermarket exhaust fitted, what a big deal? is it functional then?

  • @1958plymouth440V8

    Be prepared for Gearbox dammage (Getrag) after only 30-40'000 km! The repair will cost you "only"around 25'000.- Euros..This is what I call "quality" and "reliability"..
