As someone who’s also autistic, it’s so comforting to hear someone else talk about how frustrating your brain can be and how important it is to be gentle with yourself. I hope hibernation treats you well❤️
january is my second favorite month (just after february because february is my birth month and it's also national arts month so its goated on two fronts) because the new year feel is my favorite thing. its when i kick start all my plans and goals and get a clean slate. (but also i do live in the tropics and jan and feb are the only "cool" months and its the best)
I can definitely see the appeal of January - it's definitely nice to have a fresh start! 🥰 and yeah, it must be nice to have that cooler weather - the hotter seasons must be so tricky over there!
it’s so nice to know that i’m not alone in finding january to be so unwelcoming… thank you for another wonderful video, you always keep me in great company. 💛 also your spread is stunning as always!! 🤩
Our januaries have been very similar so far 😶🌫️trying to not write off the whole month-year because of a rough couple of weeks. Getting there slowly but surely...
I've been catching up with your videos since I've been absent. Loved it as always For me January was always the gloomiest of the months, as a kid to go back to school and be the weird kid again, as a young adult to leave home for months and months for college (not going back home on weekends, since that was a very expensive plane ticket), in my thirties to go back to work and leave my hometown again until Hod knows when, and since this year, it became the month I lost my father. If it was a bad month before, now it is the worst month ever...
Thanks so much for the kind words! 🥰 I'm sorry to hear January has always been tricky for you, but especially this year. Sincere condolences for your loss ❤️
I really need to watch digging for Britain!! Sounds so good. I’m a historian too and always in the market for a new history show/ podcast/ book/every media ever 😂

Thank you - I hope you have a good hibernation period too! Looking after ourselves is so, so important, especially with neurodivergence in the mix! ❤️
“New year and same me just continues to exist” - YES! Thank you so much for your honesty. It’s refreshing and relatable ❤
You're so welcome! And thank you for the kind words! ❤️

January has felt rough for me as well - I think the cold and grey weather is really hard! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and rambling!
You're so welcome - here's to February being better for both of us! ❤️
