I bought mine in the lovely black pepper laminate stock and love it. It's as accurate as shown in the video. It's louder than I would like, so I'm looking at a carbon sleeve and a carbon Twink. The valve does bounce on firings causing a bit of a fart sound so I'm looking at getting that done as well which should increase the shot count even more. The rifle is heavy as mentioned but feels nice in the shoulder. If only BSA had put a bit more effort into this rifle (a pic rail as on this one tested) it could have been the rifle it should have been in the first place..

Its only 15 meters which is odd? Maybe trying to make it look better than it is so no comparison to any other rifle on this channel which are shot at 30 and 40 meters, guessing you could double that size group at 30 meters but there was a breeze i guess

Much better price point, not being a snob about it but that £1000 price point put it in the same territory as the impact and some other bullpups with better shot counts and also put it in the same territory as traditional air rifle with more premium stocks etc.
Nearly fell off my chair when you quoted the price 😆 That's astonishing value for a whole lot of quality features, with only the weight a cause for concern but, hey, some folks shoot under-lever springers 🐘
Hi Andy Although I'm a replica air gun person, I still really enjoy all of your reviews, thanks very much again for all the hard work that you and your team put into these reviews. Cheers Andy from the Wirral

Another supplier has offered it at£466 so I ordered and paid for it but after several weeks I contacted them to find out they were having trouble with deliveries from BSA Hope VA have better luck cos it’s a smashing gun
That is a lovely rifle results wise, no qualms there at all. The addition of the sling pic rail to the 6 o clock is a great idea, allowing you to run sling AND bipod or a sling and grip bipod underneath (you'll need it with it weighing in at a large baby in weight!). The eagle vision pic rail on top is great, it looks like it'll take a 45° chanted pic rail for a red dot for a bit of mixed environment pest control, such as barns and open spaces. Well done Vector air on that! I am a bit put off by the safety position, it would have been nice for it to be a bit closer to the trigger guard, or even an in trigger guard item. If you're pest controlling, I can see it taking extra time in firing the next shot if it's an automatic safety on cocking? The style of the butt stock is a bit marmite too? Is it fixed and why does it look a lot like a dog taking a dump in the woods? Hmmmmmm 🤔
I have HW TK 100 and HW 99s that are so accurate, this BSA wouldnt break my bank, but I have also a HW57 and a couple of pcp sig mulitshot virtus that are a lot of fun. For me to acquire anything else I really need to trade out the later 3.

I recently bought one of these in it's a standard configuration and to be fair I did like how it felt when shouldered, though I had a number of issues with it, duff gauge, rotating dust cap on the fill port not being able to rotate without brute force, accuracy of mine was all over the place, power at just over 10ft-lb energy maximum, shot count very low and build quality wasn't very good wither, confidence in it lost so its going back now for a refund, which I'm gutted about.

This is nothing against the channel mate but bought the reximex pretensis! around 50 pellets shot before both magazines broke :( bad but not as bad as the top rail, which is not centered. using dove and picatinny rail mounts and two different scopes. one budget, one mtc ffp both centered right of barrel. very disappointed as its a beautiful rifle but would recommend avoiding this particular rifle.

That's a really complex question to answer. Best I can do is, assuming the rifle is limited to 12ftlbs, that to get the same muzzle energy the heavier .22 pellet has to leave the muzzle at around 560 fps, the lighter .177 has to be around 720 fps, so you need a higher pressure in a smaller volume .177 barrel, pushing against a smaller base of the .177 pellet to achieve the higher velocity. There's also frictional losses pushing air down the narrower .177 barrel - best analogy for that is it's a lot harder to blow/suck through a straw than a hosepipe, so again more pressure needed. Other people can probably explain it better. I'm actually surprised at the small difference (10 shots) in shot count between .177 and .22 in this rifle, it's usually much greater.
Thank you for another review! I was wondering if you would consider organizing your channel’s playlists into FAC Reviews and Sub-12 Reviews. For those of us outside the UK the Sub 12 foot pound limit is arbitrary and I find the FAC reviews much more applicable.
shame about the hideous weight!! no carbon fibre bottle! the rail on the forstock, if you have a sling on the gun, anything fitted behind it will get in the way of the sling when carring the gun, maybe on futre models, even if the price would have to increase.
Terrible gun I shot one of these when looking to replace my reliable bsa scorpion so had a go with one of these found it uncomfortable and quite noisy to shoot and it was pricey so tried a hw100 end of story.
UK only gun. Never imported here to Sweden. Even at a reduced price a FX Airguns Wildcat is less expensive. Brexit makes everything UK made uncompetitive in price. Magazine and regulator are not good features on a BSA, they tend to fail.
Picked mine up on the 1st from Vector Air, great service and coffee as usual, very accurate and 110 shots per charge in .177

Looks like am going back to gym 😊
👍🏴😁✌️
shame about the hideous weight!! no carbon fibre bottle! the rail on the forstock, if you have a sling on the gun, anything fitted behind it will get in the way of the sling when carring the gun, maybe on futre models, even if the price would have to increase.
Review sometimes fac guns 😂
Terrible gun I shot one of these when looking to replace my reliable bsa scorpion so had a go with one of these found it uncomfortable and quite noisy to shoot and it was pricey so tried a hw100 end of story.
I checked my self no wout I have shed to you
XM1 bullshark is still better 🤷🏾♂️
Heavy is good except for carrying.
The worst looking trigger guard in history , what were they thinking .
Fk wildcat springs to mind
UK only gun. Never imported here to Sweden. Even at a reduced price a FX Airguns Wildcat is less expensive. Brexit makes everything UK made uncompetitive in price. Magazine and regulator are not good features on a BSA, they tend to fail.
Who told you that the magazines fail ? I've put tens of thousands of rounds through my identical magazines and never had the slightest problem.
@@Kevin-mx1vi Im happy you got a good one. 🙂
@@Airpang100 MORE than one. And I've never heard of anyone else at my shooting club having problems with BSA magazines either.
@@Kevin-mx1vi Well, BSA have had some issues and redesigned their system several times, not without reasons...
@@Airpang100 You speaking from experience or talking out of your hat ?
