You got me with the 'hair hydrator' being a poc with natural curly/coily hair this just warmed my heart, because this is a staple in our hair routine and black haircare and just how we live our life.. so seeing this, how they did their research, warms my heart. It's the little details that touch us the most❤

I love this doll so much! Venus was already one of my favourite G1 MH dolls and, despite not collecting G3 MH, I think I'll be getting this doll once she's out in my country. She's so detailed but I can see that they ran out of budget with her shorts LMAO 🤣 I'm pretty good at sewing so I might make her a new pair 😅
A friend in my local fashion doll club texted me a photo of this new Venus when she got her at Target the other day. I haven’t ever really collecting MH, but this doll, is just a head to toe knockout, & therefore a must have! I ordered mine through Target online, & she arrived today. 🌺💚

This is such a cool doll! Definitely one of my G3 favorites! I liked her from the start but I completely lost it when I saw all those little details on the ear sculpt, it’s just too cute!💖💚
Love her!!! I love how she’s a total metal scene-inspired girlie! I love the vine imprints in her legs! She is so cute! Two things I would’ve changed but they’re minor; I do wish the boots would’ve been black fading to pink because the grey seems off to me and Chewlian is kinda… okay. He reminds me of the plant cat from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures! Which he is now in my head. I guess that means Venus watches or reads JoJo? Dunno. I can’t wait to get her!

G3 venus is one of the couple of g3 dolls that are so much better than their G1 version imo
yeah i think shes great like Abbey. Her hair looks like it'd be cool to play with and restyle and I think she could rock a bunch of different fashion restyles. Prefer OG Chewlian, but i dont really care about the pets anyway. Agree about shorts, I think the they could've used a bit more to make them less basic, but the big boots kind of balance the look out. She'd look great with shorts that are actually capable of having frayed edges and a little chain or studs.
Would've liked her to come with a little extra fashion piece other signature dolls get like Abbey's throw, Draculaura's cape, Deuce's apron, etc...I mean ideally I think she could stand to have a pleather jacket or something but I think that's unfortunately unrealistic.
I absolutely hate the serged hems on her clothing, it’s the only reason I haven’t purchase Abby yet (I’m waiting for her to go on sale because the clothes are soooo cheap). But I really really want this doll. Her sculpt is phenomenal and I absolutely love her color scheme. I’m having a hard time deciding if I want to buy her now or later 😭

I'll be honest I never collected monster high I've never actually had a monster high and for the most part all the dolls from the series that are out now or just okay to be and I couldn't pass up but I'm looking at this Venus flytrap doll and I'm thinking this might be my first monster high doll😳🥰

The only thing I wish is that they kept her eyes blue. There are actually lots of black people who have blue eyes, so it just would’ve been cool representation. We still got the person of color feel with the sculpt and the hair texture, we didn’t need her eyes to be brown. But I still absolutely loved this doll! Definitely one of my faves from g3 so far.
Why is everything about race with these videos anymore ..? We have black girl representation in sooo many dolls and lines… let’s stop acting like it don’t happen.. I don’t understand.

I like Abby more purple is my favorite color. I think I would like her more if she wasn't neon green and a more natural green like the color of actual plants. I'm just not a fan of neon. Cool looking doll, though.

I live for these new g3 MH dolls man. I think all of them are in some ways better than the G1. And I own like 20 G1 dolls which is a lot for a poor guy like me. I love how Mattel is being so diverse and creative in new ways and how they have different body types and such. I loved G1 Venus but this one is way better in all ways.

ill be honest im not the biggest fan of G3 just bc of personal preference but this doll is GORGEOUS! I absolutely love the black representation and also the punky aesthetic is soooo reminiscent of g1, she's unique in her own way, but at the same time they didn't change her TOO much, AAH shes perfect.
