He is highly-overrated. The NBA tries so hard to make stars they force it upon the fans by hyping so many undeserving players. Beal scored a lot of points on a trash Washington team where he could take all the shots. Most NBA dudes could do that if you put them on a trash team and tell them they have a green light to shoot. He is a slightly-above average scorer..that’s it…and it is never consistent.

Honestly the Beal trade was the cherry on top. The Durant trade already ripped away all the depth and left them with a big two and a bunch of bums.
Fundamentally the issue is that when KD builds a superteam he always just tries to pair himself with buckets rather than guys who would complement his skill set.
To draw a parallel with the Wolves and Ant, KD needs a Gobert way more than a Beal or even a Booker (not saying Booker is worse than Gobert - just that Gobert would be a way better fit)
