It would still be poor as it's not a Pixel Google was able to get flagship performance that competed with the flagship rivals out of that chip due to optimization don't know how and I've not tested one but according to all professional reviewers they did.
Awesome screen, awesome camera, long lasting battery life... THE A53 does what is says, and no one in their right mind should buy the SE... In Europe, the SE is 200eur more expensive than A53 btw... And you can get the a52s with better performance for 200eur... No way you should ever buy an SE...
I just ordered an A53. I feel like what I’m getting from it for $449 (found it $405 with 10% discount at Best Buy) with the 6.5” screen, high quality AMOLED panel, quad camera setup and 128gb beats the SE on all those departments even if the SE is a way better performing phone all around.
Would have gotten the SE if I were you tbh. Or even an older flagship. I'm currently using an S10+ and it performs way better than the 53 and the SE tbh. It literally is miles ahead of both.
The thing is,you can really go super budget on samsung and get anA32 or a A22 or an A10. That SE is ad low as apple can go. Tsmc got hinted in samsungs upcoming budget phones to come with the dimensity chip that cost way cheaper to produce, if course it runs hotter, but churns out better geek bench scores. So Tsmc might win samsung as well for a customer. So now they will make apple bionic chips and android chips, see where is this going?

Why do i feel like he desperately in all videos tries to undermine the android phones like all of them even after them giving users a load more features than a apple device and makes a big thing out of a small thing that apple does that isn't even remotely useful . I have watched a lot of his videos but the way he talks on all aspects is in superiority of Iphone over every phone even after not giving loads and loads of features and mobility and already is present in androids for a few years. He seems to talk in a way of apple superiority over everything and only compares phones and features available to apple not features exclusive to android and their usefullness in day to day life .
Samsung Galaxy A53 is much better than the iPhone se 3 in many aspects , but it's a little difference between them it all comes to personal preference if you like iOS or Samsung UI
In uk iphone se 256gb is double the price of A53, one UI on samsung is better, the iphone will have longer updates, but samsung is offering 4 years updates and 5 years security(not bad), most people change there phones every 3 years. The bigger screen is better, but if you want apple eco system iphone se. Apple won't give it a bigger screen, because they want you to buy the premium phones.
Here’s why you buy an SE: Better performance than any android out there, hands down the most powerful SoC out there Longevity: this thing will last for half a decade or more IOS: speaks for itself. And for a lot of people, that’s enough
Ok I can see your points but Performance: Yes the iphone se does have way better Performance but again it's like having a hypercar engine on a cheap car chasis. Apple has some fantastic chips but just can't seem to use it to its full potential. Longitive: samsung has said that they are working harder to push updates faster and now will support 4 years of os updates and 5 years of security updates way better then before. Ios: what does that even mean? Andriod 12 or one ui has way way more things going for it then ios. Real multitasking, more options, and way better handling of notifications and the control deck just to name a few. And mind you this is all on a less powerful chip embarrassing to say the least.

They did better with the A52s, they put the SD778G.
Yo lo conseguí a 199$
En total 211$ en boost mobile
I got it for $216 at Boost Mobile
Would have gotten the SE if I were you tbh. Or even an older flagship. I'm currently using an S10+ and it performs way better than the 53 and the SE tbh. It literally is miles ahead of both.
4:07 What's the point of having 120hz if its still laggy?
The thing is,you can really go super budget on samsung and get anA32 or a A22 or an A10. That SE is ad low as apple can go. Tsmc got hinted in samsungs upcoming budget phones to come with the dimensity chip that cost way cheaper to produce, if course it runs hotter, but churns out better geek bench scores. So Tsmc might win samsung as well for a customer. So now they will make apple bionic chips and android chips, see where is this going?
I agree, but the way the apple ecosystem works makes it so you can pick up older iPhones at basically any price point and they’ll still be supported
That exynos is just a complete deal breaker for me since after 1 year it just starts overheating
It's too bad because last year's version had snapdragon. The a53 5g is basically a downgrade from a52 5g
I would pick the a53 because of the screen Great work
Not match comparision, because there is a huge differance between chipsets. A15 bionic is flagship chip, but Exynos1280 is budget chip.
Yes but everything else about the A53 is superior
Sacrificing display, design, and battery just for a split second quicker app launch time is outrageous! Regular phone users would buy at this mid range price range, and 90% of these people only use basic apps.. Theres no point in getting iphone SE if youre just a regular user.. Do yourself a favor and get the A53 instead.. it will still look modern after 3 years, meanwhile the SE will look pre historic in 3 years.. but if youre really an iSheep in a budget, then get the iphone 11 or 12 instead..
The se's tiny screen is the deal breaker for me
I’ve had the SE3 for about 2 months now, and it is fast and you can literally feel the ram doing it’s job! I love the battery it charges super fast and lasts all day! I LOVE Touch ID and it checks all the boxes. I am running an iPad mini 6 also so if I need to watch anything or play my clash of clans, I will hop on the iPad. I just love this phone I highly suggest you to try it. A15!!! A15! Like 😍
Nick, can you please do a Twitter scroll test on the devices? I've noticed that Twitter is one of the laggiest apps on smartphones (especially when in a thread). Thanks for the tests!
Apple selling budget iphones with flagship processors and promising years worth of updates doesn't make much sense when they deliberately slow down older iphones so that people buy the latest ones
At least they could’ve made the SE look like the iPhone XR
no lol just no xr is big af whats wrong with you ppl
@@Pleiades60 What about iPhone 13 mini size body with XR display and camera design
@@GadgetsArise U will see that in se4
@@liverpung6210 Hmm we'll see
I love this comparison because it takes me all the way back to 2013 all over again.
In 5 years the iphone SE will still run like a champ, meanwhile the samsung phone will be like slow old grandma
Well I prefer the A53 because right now i have the A51 and it will be a design downgrade for me to have the se 3 now so i prefer the A53 (+ I have a samsung tablet and a watch so switching to iphone it would be harder)
6:43. I THOUGHT FOR A SECOND THAT HE WAS GOING TO SAY THE N-WORD
You can turn on reduce motion on the iPhone, and the window scale to off on the Samsung phone, and there will be no animations so they will be very comparable
I would definitely consider that A53 if there was no new SE3 to replace my iPhone 8 if something happened to it
Great comparison video between these two phones
Why do i feel like he desperately in all videos tries to undermine the android phones like all of them even after them giving users a load more features than a apple device and makes a big thing out of a small thing that apple does that isn't even remotely useful . I have watched a lot of his videos but the way he talks on all aspects is in superiority of Iphone over every phone even after not giving loads and loads of features and mobility and already is present in androids for a few years. He seems to talk in a way of apple superiority over everything and only compares phones and features available to apple not features exclusive to android and their usefullness in day to day life .
SE 2022 for simplicity, performance, durability and state-of-the-art software that will be supported for a very long time
Is the S53 on wifi ?
Samsung Galaxy A53 is much better than the iPhone se 3 in many aspects , but it's a little difference between them it all comes to personal preference if you like iOS or Samsung UI
in 2 years the samsung A53 will be like slow old grandma. In 5 years, the SE still runs like a champ.
Getting massive performance in se3 but lol just performance compromising on everything else 😂
Great speed test Nick👍🏻
In India the price difference for the 128 gig is almost 15k INR
Yes.. and at that price (128gig SE3) you might as well consider the S21FE which is better than A53 in all aspects and also a bit more compact.
Excellent video 📹
For those who about to upgrade
In uk iphone se 256gb is double the price of A53, one UI on samsung is better, the iphone will have longer updates, but samsung is offering 4 years updates and 5 years security(not bad), most people change there phones every 3 years. The bigger screen is better, but if you want apple eco system iphone se. Apple won't give it a bigger screen, because they want you to buy the premium phones.
Nice comparison video. Android vs. iOS, interesting!
Nahh. The Samsung fingerprint definitely looks smoother
Iphone SE 2022 took down the Galaxy S22 Ultra....
I love se3 it's different 😍
Amazing content Nick-a great comparison!🔥🔥🙂!.
The se3 should of been a 12 mini body with a lcd screen then everybody would have bought it 😃
Quickly
Then wouldn't it just be the 12 mini snd not the se ???
I have the A53. The phone does wonders. I really don't have much issues.
wait till the next 2 years lol
Я хотел бы что новый айфон СЕ был спереди белый и с новым дизайном
You could mod it with front white bezels
Remove the animations on the Samsung and then see how snappy the Samsung is! The oled display beats se any day, I bought the A53 and I love it
4:36 A53 super laggy; Samsung is improving a lot, but i have to say, they keep dealing with the traditional lag.
its not lag its animation problem they tried to improve in software but has not been fixed yet
Samsung flagships are butter smooth
My a52 5g is also pretty smooth
I don't know why why the a53 is like that
Am feeling the design of the A33 try unbox that please.
forget iPhone se, this samsung with exynos processor can't even compete with the likes of xiaomi, realme in terms of performance
Get an order iphone xr or 11 or an old samsung flahship note 10 etc
Here’s why you buy an SE:
Better performance than any android out there, hands down the most powerful SoC out there
Longevity: this thing will last for half a decade or more
IOS: speaks for itself.
And for a lot of people, that’s enough
Ok I can see your points but
Performance: Yes the iphone se does have way better Performance but again it's like having a hypercar engine on a cheap car chasis.
Galaxy a53 is a beast, iPhone has a stronger processser but either way they can both play heavier games
I just think that the A53 is just slow and buggy and I wouldn’t pick it at all even if the iPhone 6s was being compared I would still pick that iPhone.😂😂
I had a50 and ican say that was completely trash compare with se2 a50 was really slow and laggy phone after one and half year that is my experience form two past budget phones if you want to buy low budget android devices I recommend xiaomi series samsung is really overprice even s22 ultra
You should do A53 vs Pixel 5a !
One thing I cannot tolerate is lag. Great review!
I have the iPhone se second generation wow 😮 this two phones
"Even with those chops."😂
both are the best phones I already used but i just upgraded to iphone 12. cuz i got iphone 12 at best price in used from phonedaddy.
3:31 my comment was the first on instagram😂
I would bet, even the iPhone SE 2016 will be a lot smoother than this A53. It will be slower, but consistent.
Well I would agree with thst statement considering the SE 2020 is more powerful than the S22 Ultra.
I love me some apple but cmon the Se is an embarrassing phone.
If the A53 was sized similarly to the SE then I might have actually considered it.
I think for most people it's the other way around
@@nickackermanchannel Well for someone like me I need a compact phone and there are barely enough of those. Have you thought of doing a compact phone review for 2022 for both iPhones and Android?
@@nickackermanchannel Samsung chips are kind of bad, they should’ve put a QUALCOMM chip in here
@@nickackermanchannel If Apple had used the Iphone XR form factor, the SE 2022 would be an easier choice over the A53
@@123theprodigy5 A52s is more worth it since it had SD778g
The A53 5g same price range to iphone SE lowest spec. ver., should be the 8G RAM+256G ROM model.
Samsung A53 comes with 8 gigs of RAM for both 128 and 256 gigs version
Nope 6/128 and 8/256
Comes in 8/128. Maybe it depends on where you are.
@@ebin2868 It doesn't matter! It comes with 8 gigs of RAM
Not in the UK and US it doesn't which isn't enough for Samsung phones due to their ram hungry skin.
I like a53
Is that the iPhone 6?
The iPhone SE looks really old fashioned, like something you'd buy in 2015. It's not for me.
Im an apple guy through and through but if I could only choose between these two phones, Id probably take the galaxy
If you're not a gamer a53 is better if you care about performance don't mind the smaller display get the se
why does120 hz matter on a phone?
People’d always complain about the SE. What’s the point of the iPhone 13 (Pro)’s existence?
iPhone SE's processor destroys a $1,000 Samsung Galaxy flagship.
iPhone SE is like a Toyota Corolla with a Hellcat engine under the hood.
The a53 doesn't cost $1000
@@eibarmanpessi1142 I know that. I meant the S21 Ultras or maybe even the S22
@@Mr-Clark apart from performance s21 and s22 ultra is way better by far
destroys? I don’t think the A15 Bionic “destroys” Snapdragon 8 Gen 1
The SE has all that horsepower but I wonder if its worth to have that in a nearly decade old chassis. The Samsung is sluggish from the beginning and it will get worse with time. The (brand new or refurbished) iPhone 11 makes more sense.
You obviously haven't used Samsung phones recently. Sammy isn't perfect but their phone especially their more expensive models stay fast for years to come.
Samsung phones have gotten better now
Not buying an iPhone until they release an iPhone SE + the size of an iPhone 8+
Even if your a apple fan boy, you can't say the Samsung offers a better bang for the buck
it doesnt make sense on opening apps except games or more intensive apps
450 dollars for a53 and it performes like this????
I paid 300 euros for mine in last June. And it has become lot smoother with updates over time.
Just remove the animation.
Only if SE had XR body instead of IPhone 8 it would be killer!
A53 on sale at best buy for $349 right now
Your background music name please
UA-cam shows it at the bottom of description on your phone
@@nickackermanchannel i didn't find any.. could u please tell me the music name
I have the se for work and I don't like it at all. Display is awful, it's tiny and camera is meh.
i rather go with the samsung having 4 cameras and the iphone having one camera is a huge dealbreaker for me
