I think the packaging is the only good thing about this calendar because the price is extremely high for what you get. And I also hate how they waste so much packaging/carton by trying to trick the buyer into believing they are getting big products when in reality you only get tiny samples. Anyways, rant over. Tbh I feel like brands who make the beauty advent calendars should make three types of calendars for light n medium n dark skinned ppl so the makeup products in each category would ROUGHLY suit the ppl of the category
I guess thats not a bad idea. I saw so many calendats so far, and they were all suited for white people, well at least i never saw a dark makeup or somethin.
U could use mascara, and eyehadowns, maybe some of the roughe, but not any of the fondations or concealers, or powders!

I love it but when you think about it, is it really worth it, you're paying £30 per item and most of these are all sample sizes. But I do understand its nice to have something fun to look forward too but I guess its only fun for those that can afford it.

Yes, a lot of people couldn't afford it but it's not £30 per item; it's $130 for the box and there are 25 items.
It's actually about $5 per item and you're getting 9 full sized products. I believe it's a good deal,especially if you are like me and you enjoy trying out new products. Also, you can still use the box to store makeup,jewelries,etc. It can also be a great gift for someone special for Christmas! :)
That stuff was never worth $390. Absolutely no way. Every time a product is claimed as being worth '$$', it's always a lie.
