This is a beautifully produced and quite - very - engaging piece of work. So sorry to see that the subject of it is no longer with us. Very sad. Gotta say this dancing is a real art form. I have danced my whole life - mostly swing and tango, but dance, like music, is very broad. It's a large universe, dancing. My highest commendations on the entire work, circumstances notwithstanding. I loved it.

First thing I wanted to say Isos is a universal(not just dance) concept. From what I've heard turfing is mainly concept not the actual moves. It has a large focus on optical illusions(your isos and glides), storytelling, personal style(which is why its so varied), and expression. It definitely takes heavy influence from popping(it was founded from boogaloo dancers as a matter of fact)and miming.
