Just a hint when baking gluten free, let your batter sit for 20-30 minutes before baking. It will eliminate the grittiness.

My oldest son was allergic to eggs, dairy, soy & nuts. I feel this deeply. It’s hard to have allergies for 1 and 5 other kids that do not. It makes meal planning, snacks, parties & eating out so hard. Just wanted you to know you’re not alone & you’re doing a great job.
You are doing a great job. Don’t let people get to you. Just keep listening to the doctor. You know what’s best for your family. Take care and God bless.
You're so sweet and such a great momma. Please don't let the rude people make you second guess or feel the need to clarify. As a mom to kiddos 4 and 1.5 that have life threatening allergies you work super close with your doctors and that's only for you to know. I pray sweet Layla outgrows some of these.
You are not alone on the sock front! A few years ago we found a random sock in our yard. It didn't belong to any of my kids. Finally realized it came from a neighbor kid who must have left it in my yard.
You are doing awesome!! I can tell you love your children with all your heart. Keep up the good work. Praying for you as you go through this journey.

That turkey breast is actually already cooked. It says "oven roasted" on the wrapper
I’m aware but it also had cooking instructions on it and said to cook 15 min per pound. So that’s what I did

Thank you so much for sharing the information and how you are navigating through Layla's situation. I can't even imagine how stressful it is and then to get some of the crazy comments on top of it all. So thank you for still sharing. I have 2 littles so learning what to look for could end up being really helpful. You never know who could really benefit from the information. Your cats are just adorable!!! You don’t have to cook the turkey. My daughter loved that turkey breast heated up in chicken gravy , it’s a great cold protein for snacks and sandwiches and great price . Your doing a great job with Laylas restrictions . Thank you ! 🌸🦆🌸
Happy Mother's day! You are doing amazing. As an allergy sufferer, my daughter, my granddaughter has allergies as well. Allergies are always changing. It is a journey for sure. Dont take the comments to heart. If people have never dealt with allergies they would not understand.

I feel you on having a food allergy/intolerance. My son has a peanut and tree nut allergy since he was 1.5 years old. My sister is gluten free and she likes sweet potato crackers. She buys RW Garcia 3 Seed Sweet Potato Crackers (no potato starch either). My husband is lactose intolerant as well. We only ever use lactaid free milk. The Barilla gluten free pasta is good. I use it for when my sister is over for dinner, can’t tell the difference. There’s gluten free bread crumbs too. There’s so many more options now than there was 20+ years ago. You’re doing a great job!

Yes i totally get it my son is non verbal autistic and he has to be gluten free dairy free and soy and peanut free it’s so hard to get him stuff and make him stuff especially he is very picky 😢

Sweetheart you are doing so great NO ONE NEEDS TO QUESTION YOU ABOUT FOOD CHOICES. We all should know you are following Doctors advice. I keep PRAYING that Layla & Wilder both will outgrow some of these allergies. I DID.. some stayed I’m allergic to cucumbers (but can eat pickles no problem LOL) & watermelon. Allergies are weird. Shrimp will cause anaphylaxis for me but other shellfish doesn't. My girl (23 yesterday!) started with the same as me but now can't have any shellfish. Allergies can come on anytime and go away any time. I got mine after blood transfusions on my 30th birthday. Who knows why? Good luck with that poor baby!❤

Hey Tiffany. I am sorry she is having to do all this. That is so hard on a little one to change. I hope it helps her. We had to do this with our daughter. She was allergic to so many things. We worked with a doc too. Are they doing things to heal her gut lining? We have been able to reduce some foods once her gut lining was healed. I had never heard of it. If ya need anything or questions we did please feel free to reach out. It is so hard to plan for a big family when kids have diet restrictions, and yes always lot of questions and comments. Know you are doing great and take each day at a time. Praying for ya momma. Great job!

I buy those turkey breasts for lunch meat every other week. These are completely cooked and ready to eat, so there is no need to cook it. You could just portion it out and then thaw and reheat when needed. It is really good turkey. I keep the whole thing with a paper towel over the cut end to absorb any liquid in a gallon zip lock bag. I slice off what we need each day when I make our lunches. The meat stays great like this for up to 7 to 10 days. I have also sliced the entire turkey breast and packaged and froze it. It thaws nice and still tasty good. It is so versatile. I have chopped some and put it in casseroles, soups, and salads. It is so much cheaper than buying sliced, processed lunch meat.

My son has 25 food allergies since he was 9 months old. Hes now 10 with about 15 allergies thst they say will be lifelong and they all require epi pen as he’s anaphylactic to his allergies. It does get easier as they get older.much love nana

With food allergies, I believe it is the proteins that the body reacts to. And even though foods may seem similar to us, they are different on a cellular level. So a person may react to chicken proteins but not those from other birds. Just like they may react to the proteins in cow’s milk but not milk from other animals like goats.

My little girl also has multiple food allergies. And on the meat part of it she can't have turkey or lamb and no fish And she can't drink regular milk or just eat eggs but she can have them baked in foods. And she is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts.
Hi hon. Would baby girl beable to eat vegan chicken strips for instance the Gardein or Morningstar? I know the Morningstar contains wheat and soy ( not sure if she can have that ).. just a thought 💗
She cannot have any wheat, but soy is ok.

Hey, I'm so sorry to hear about Laylas allergies.
My son has 15 allergies, I know how hard it can be! I really encourage you to find a good functional medicine Dr! It has been life changing for my son and actually bringing him healing rather than just avoiding everything. Please keep digging for answers! Allergies are very complex and you can actually develop more allergies if you rely heavily on only a few foods. Unfortunately allergists seem to only know the basics about allergies. Pray you find answers and healing for your baby!

I'm not a doctor or anything remotely like that but I believe the reason your daughter can eat Turkey but is not able to eat Chicken is that they each have different proteins so she is allergic to the protein in Chicken and not the protein in Turkey.
It’s so hard this is all so hard to do. I’ve struggled for years for myself and my now 9 year old. Learning gluten free baking is so different
I would appreciate a video about her symptoms and tests etc. I have been reeling with doctors here for my daughter to even do the more extensive tests bc I keep telling Dr it's something else.
Have you tried vegan foods for her stomach
Duck eggs are delicious and they make your desserts and baking you do. I get my duck and chicken eggs from my niece. Why does her daughter not eat chicken because of the protein that is found in the muscle tissue of the chicken called Serum Albumin and Ducks and Turkey do not have that.
Did your family doctor order these tests or a specialist. I think I need tested for allergies. My sister is gluten free and dairy free for years.
