Kirby is the polar opposite to the many eldritch horrors that lurk within his world. He is just as unknowable and powerful (perhaps even more so)... but he is aligned with the forces of pure good. The yang to the universe's yin.

The most confusing thing about Kirby is the fact that he doesn’t appear to have any organs for disposing bodily waste, meaning that Kirby has never actually “eaten” ANYTHING, as if he did, his body would need to remove the waste via urine or excrement.
Now this could mean one of 3 things. A; Kirby immediately destroys anything and everything that goes in his mouth so that no waste is produced, but he also would get no nutrition from those things. B; the residents, wildlife, and food of Planet Popstar are so impossibly perfect that they are entirely made up of nutrition and produce no waste when eaten. Or C; The powers Kirby gains after eating ARE the waste.
Now C is insane, but it’s also the one I like the most, because that means that every time you eat an enemy to gain its powers, Kirby is using the waste given by the enemies and produced by his own body to beat up King Dee Dee Dee.
I feel like it's a mix of A and C: Kirby does just instantly destroy whatever he eats, but anything he does eat just turns into energy (which technically counts as waste lol) that is used to give Kirby his powers
Pretty sure it's explained outside of the anime (Squeak Squad maybe?) that Kirby's stomach leads to a different dimension

1 yes the abilities are technically waste
2 kirby doesn't eat the food or drinks he collects, he absorbs it, probably similarly to how the waddle dees absorb food in the anime

I don't know what Kirby is exactly, but I enjoyed so many Kirby games since the first one and I have a great time getting 100% on this one!

in squeak squad, there appears to be an entire galaxy within kirby's stomache
in super star ultra, one can swallow bandee only for him to be in the background in the next room

The DS games as well as Meta Knight confirm that Kirby has others that are like him, which are Keeby, the red and green Kirbys, Shadow Kirby, and Meta Knight himself

Well Kirby is said to be a star warrior, and when stars die they turn into black holes. Basically Kirby is somehow a pink star that only has the black hole occuping his mouth and the other star stuff is pink? Black holes litearlly suck up everything so it would make sense

Kirby is an unstoppable Eldrich Horror with a gnawing hunger for the fabric of reality that just happens to be shaped like a friend.
If we are going off what I've been able to manage from the lore kirby is a dark matter born of positive emotions and in kirby right back at ya kirby's stomach is basically an entire universe.
This is supported by the final boss of soul melter ex but more specifically the boss music which not only includes game boy sounds but a version of green Grove world 1 of kirbys adventure.

Kirby is either a reincarnation or semi-direct offspring of Void, the ancestor of all matter in the Kirby universe. Because of these ancient origins, Kirby is, functionally, a living pocket dimension, using vacuum differentiation to inhale enemies and objects. Additionally, Kirby is able to, to an extent, copy the abilities of enemies and objects, though it is not one to one. Furthermore, enemies Kirby inhales don't stay inside Kirby. They often reappear in a flash of light later(Kirby Star Allies, Kirby Forgotten Land) or appear in another room completely unharmed(Revenge of Meta Knight, Revenge of the King). What this suggests about Kirby's own relationship with the universe is unknown. Some sources(Kirby's Return to Dreamland, the Super Smash Brothers series) also suggest Kirby can excrete inhaled beings from his back.
As for Kirby's biography; there isn't much. In 1992, shortly after King Dedede stole the Sparkling Stars that grant food to the people of Dream Land, a young traveller named Kirby arrived on a Spring Breeze, and has been protecting the planet since. This implies Kirby was not born on Planet Popstar, but elsewhere.
What if the forgotten land is where Kirby and his kindbare from?

Then again, the same could be said for Adeleine. She never reacted to Shiver Star, which implies she was born off-world.

@@pokemasta6019 I don't think they're the same species as Kirby, or at least, if they are, they don't have copy abilities like Kirby does. Picture Kirby as the Avatar and you'll get the general idea of what I think is going on.
As for planets, I think Meta Knight travelled the galaxy for some time, at least visiting the Metal planet from Milky Way Wishes, which he uses as inspiration for the Halberd's very own Heavy Lobster. I've no idea what planet Meta Knight's from.
I think Galacta Knight is from Halcandra. It's all but confirmed Galacta was associated with the Ancients. Then again, the Ancients WERE an intergalactic, multidimensional civilization, so he may not be specifically from Halcandra.
It's total headcanon, but I think the Morpho butterfly originated from an unnamed planet that was destroyed during Void Termina's first rampage, and its remains became the Necro Nebula.
@@slateoffate9812 The thing you forgot to mention was that Galacta Knight was trapped in a cristal prison for who knows how long. For all we know Galacta Knight might be Kirby's ancestor..
Also, I think that Kirby has that power due to him being a reincarnation of a literal god. He just happens to be of at least a similar species to Meta and Galacta.
