I love that you include the position they finished. Like your enige blew up, setting you back weeks of work and thousands of dollars. Still got 5th tho
Awesome machines. I have always thought that they should also drag race these things at the same event, but keep the same set up. Score points on pull and drag, most overall points get an extra prize.
Interesting concept. That would be a problem for the ones that use ice and washer fluid for cooling. They try to not do more than one run. A few of the tracks would be wide enough for drags, but not always enough track for stopping.
@@rollinwiththedavises1938 Yeah, space could well be the issue. As for the cooling, Burnout cars use ice, I think some drag cars do, or at least used to, as well. And on dirt a bit of spillage isn’t going to be an issue. But I think it would increase the spectacle of the event. Do you know what is the earliest pull footage that I could find on UA-cam?
As always at a pulling event. Zero emergency response. Small hand held extinguishers in untrained hands. It’s almost like they don’t expect things to happen.
GM and "Dodge" (Daimler-Benz then Fiat then Stellantis), both took money from taxpayers due to poor management like a bunch of socialist commies. Dodge truck chassis rust to oblivion, GM couldn't make a simple ignition switch without killing people.
I feel like the 14L diesels are kind of cheating anyway. Of course a tuned semi engine isn't going to struggle. I've seen guys pushing upwards of 2kHP and so much torque that they couldn't dyno or laser to get an accurate figure.
Try to rig a fire system on a truck like this tell me how it goes…. Been putting fire systems in my race cars for years costs at least 5,000 bucks and to fill the bottles at least another 500 bucks. The sport doesn’t pay enough to justify it. If it catches on fire it’ll still be cheaper
It was supposed to just be a "for fun" exhibition. They do it every year. This year it went South. If they do it next year they will probably wear helmets and everybody will question that. 🤣🤣 Thanks for watching.

Why is there no designated fire Marshall,s all ready equiped and dress appropriately along the side of the track ?

Fire Dept. was at all the pulls. Pullers do not want normal extinguishers used on their engines. The small ones are engine safe. Thanks for watching.
@rollinwiththedavises1938 agreed...but the response time and co-ordination needs to improve.
Having proper equipment with properly trained personnel would admit a liability aspect to this which would only raise their insurance.
Outtaline needs an alignment! 😂
Needs a lot beefery frame and suspension that 20% upgraded frame and suspension was not even close strong enough for a tractor pull
