I do not want people to suffer with bad credit like me .
I fixed my credit, became smarter with money. Slowly worked my way from a chase freedom, to a sapphire preferred and now my first Amex. I loved unboxing the platinum.
I have held the card in my hands. I am a waiter at a restaurant in London, one day a very posh looking business man wanted to pay his bill. I got out the card reader, and he pulled out this black thick, almost stone like material card, with golden engraved AMEX symbol. I told him, that I work with cards daily for many years, and never have I ever seen such a card, he was coy about it, and tipped me 10£( which is a lot for 1 person table)
I am a server at a pretty high end Italian restaurant in Atlanta. I have a regular costumer who has one of these, he always spends big always tips amazing. He owns a big financial firm in the local area.
@Luke Brown In the most respectful way possible. Wash this like a "let me show another man something awesome that he'll think is cool" moment. Or did it have that rich guy drying to dig in your cheeks vibe? Just curious. I'm guessing it was the former but you never know lol.
When you reach this level of wealth, you don't need a credit card. on the flip side, if you reached this level of wealth its probably because you were very prudent with your money and used anything and everything you cold to get money back from reward programs, investments, credit cards, etc.
I can confirm most of the things said by Tim. The perks on this card is very good. I frequently get upgrades to the executive rooms and in one case the penthouse at the star city casino here in Sydney. Relationship Manager is extremely good and very useful. I was able to source a very difficult hard to get Hermes Kelly using my RM to source it. Any other way eg walking into a store would just end up in failure with no bag. Its a useful car.. great for waving around to get upgrades and perks!
they are making money 1000 other ways out of you because of how much you are spending and doing shit. E.g. all hotels they do deals with, they get commision, all airlines they give you deals with, they get big commisions and so much more.
Make sure you do your research before replying... It makes u looks like a fool... Dont be jealous if others have the hands of this card... If dont have and know nuts, then better be quiet... :)
Wish my Platinum card gave me airline status, the US version of Centurion actually gives Delta Platinum Membership. Although my platinum does get HHonors Gold and SPG Gold, as well as the Fine Hotels and Resorts.

Chris Nieves not really! Maybe you didn't hear him but you have to pay this card in full at the end of the month!! If you can afford to spend 250,000 a year on a platinum card! You've got all the card it you need! THESE PEOPLE DON'T LIVE ON CREDIT!! Because can you image the paying 25% on 250,000 credit! They didn't get rich by being that stupid!!
I got the offer last year and couldn’t fathom how I’d get value out of it, and everyone I spoke to who had one said they didn’t really get much value out of it. Apparently the American card is much better, but the Australian one has more limited perks, and the problem for me is I already have all the airline status and perks I need and the concierge service doesn’t phase me too much - I’ve never had the Platinum one fail me (I’ve used them once to get me a case of beer from Suriname on a deadline). My net worth is also way less than $16m so I was very surprised when the offer arrived.
Am so in debt since early this year -$7000 maxed out on my card, I almost lost my car and credit score decreased but still got $4000 to pay off. After watching this video i think i learnt a lesson. But it didnt take away my card debt lol
Cool to see a rich person so open. A lot of them are very secretive and have a "part of the club" attitude, which I completely understand and don't blame them for, but that doesn't mean I am not curious about that stuff!
I've been an amex user for years and spent far more each year than what they say you need for the card and I've finally been invited! I'm actually so excited to finally get the card. Thank you for the info!
I remember seeing a musician, Noel Gallagher, on an interview pulled out that card and basically used it to brag to someone who told him years before he would not amount to much. That must have been sweet.
Expensive watches doesn't say that much about an individual as people seem to think, I have a few friends rocking ~$10k watches but with the same income as myself, it's all about priorities :)
The first time I saw this card, I was a bank teller maybe 6 months in. 22 years old, im 35 now. A senior teller saw it, came over and told me to basically action anything they wanted as they were private banking status. They didn't even need to stand in a public line. They just liked being social! - Nice people. Some people floss, some people like blending in!
Hey Timothy. Just noticed (and don't know if you did by looking back at the video) that when you have the lid fully open, the "Centurion" letters looks like they light up.
Very nice, I currently upgraded my Green card to the Platinum and also have the Gold rewards. I was told having the Platinum waives the Gold card fee so i hope that's correct. The Centurion card seems like a dream away but I'm in school for my marketing degree so here's hoping I achieve success!
Arthur Byers if you have the Platinum.. you can add 99 gold cards at no cost to you.. or add 3 platinum for 175 a year plus your original 550 annual fee.
i like music I was told you had to have a high score to stand a chance but to be honest, when I was approved for the green card my CS was only around 640-650. You just have to have a good history as well as good income
It's true, your Platinum membership waives the annual fee for additional gold cards. But keep in mind the Gold cards do not carry the same reward perks as the Premier Rewards Gold card.
Love this! Timothy, how has it been in the three months since you had the card? I just received my metal Platinum card and I'm enjoying it but the end goal is the Centurion card.
A one time US$7,500 initiation fee, an annual fee of US$2,500 and an average monthly expenditure of US$250,000 to maintain membership. Enjoy those benefits. You've earned it. 😊😊😊😊😊
I also have the same card and the same box. You should find the second luggage tag and the keys to the box in the compartment directly underneath the first luggage tag.
For anyone who is curious, there is a one time initiation fee of $7500 which is non refundable, and a $2500 annual fee every year with the centurion card. In case you’re wondering, I know because I am very well connected to the brand and have access to info most people may not. They don’t even tell their employees too much about this card.
I work in the restaurant industry in a wealthier part of my state and see these black Amex's all the time. Most of them are business ones. I always forget how heavy they are when I'm handed one.
It's not all it's cracked up to be. They don't have as many partners as they use to have, the perks are almost all the same as the Platinum card. You get one more level up or the top level of hotel and car rental clubs. The concierge isn't a big deal and can't always come trough for special arrangements. There's a one time initiation fee of about 7500 bucks, your card will have a renewal of 2500 a year. If you travel a LOT you can make the yearly fee back, you really eat the initiation fee. Just think of how many first class airline tickets you can buy for that. Really, it's a waste of money, more of an ego thing and even that's a let down because most of the people you hand it to to pay for stuff have no clue what it is. They just say "wow that's a heavy card, what's it made out of?" Titanium, "what's that?"

Hey question, You mentioned that there was a seperate card for business and personal? I presume you only received one invitation which was based off of one account which you were doing the vast majority of your spending on, to earn this card? I.e. you had a business platinum which you spent big on for year and they invited you? Or personal, one of the two? But to my surprise you have mentioned that they give you both business and personal black cards when you get invited? Is that right? Even if you only had one of them in platinum? Cheers, Dylan
Game over 232 Shut up bitch ass no you can’t remove an overlay on a video that has already been converted to a file type that you can share on UA-cam. Stop trying to look cool by saying you can do all this shit.
John Ward That has nothing to do with my comment and makes you look like a fucking bonobo. Why don’t you say something relevant, or anything that doesn’t make you look like a dumbass?
10K for a CC no thanks. I could hire a full-time VA to book all my travel and find me good deals. Than I don't have to be the guy asking everyone if I get a discount everywhere I go.
You’re going to need a lot of money for that. It’s a one time initiation fee of $7500, and a $2500 annual fee every year on top of that for the personal card. Which means if you got it today, you’d get hit with an instant fee of 7500, you’d have another 2500 due at the end of the first billing statement, and then another 2500 bill on your first year anniversary, then again every year after that. That means that if you got this card today, you would have paid $12,500 USD just for having this card by July 28th, 2020. The business card costs about double that.
Hi Tim, could you please feedback on whether this Card actually helped you through Airports. I have a number of frequent flyer cards, or platinum credit cards (like amex plat), but it doesnt really really work. In most airports you'll just be facing a "what's that ? get back in the queue". So would you mind giving a feedback about if it truly helps ? that would add value. Thanks
Your 18 minute video seemed like 10 minutes, because I got really excited from the things you were talking about in this video and the way you interact with your viewers, this almost never happens to me, I wonder if that's also a part why you're succesful in business. Keep it up!

I.e. you had a business platinum which you spent big on for year and they invited you? Or personal, one of the two?
But to my surprise you have mentioned that they give you both business and personal black cards when you get invited? Is that right? Even if you only had one of them in platinum?
Cheers,
Dylan
Who else thought they can see the details on the card XD
Red Vanderbilt noone
Game over 232 Shut up bitch ass no you can’t remove an overlay on a video that has already been converted to a file type that you can share on UA-cam. Stop trying to look cool by saying you can do all this shit.
John Ward That has nothing to do with my comment and makes you look like a fucking bonobo. Why don’t you say something relevant, or anything that doesn’t make you look like a dumbass?
Hey Tim, tried to sign up to the 3 Day Bootcamp but the thank you page is a dead link that directs me back to the sign up page?
10K for a CC no thanks. I could hire a full-time VA to book all my travel and find me good deals. Than I don't have to be the guy asking everyone if I get a discount everywhere I go.
USA min wage would be far above 10k. Maybe you’re very wealthy :)
16 and extremely ambitious. I can’t wait to unbox one of these.
Unbox these nuts and enjoy.
The good ol' trusty Big Pilot. I'm loving your taste in timepiece, sir.
Love it mate! Hope to get one some day. :-) looks neat enough!
Honestly, not going to miss not having this card. You can keep it!
Just image if it shoot confetti out off it
Talk about an unboxing! The presentation is key!
Still love my Visa Debit! :-)
Alonso Gonzalez RIGHT!!!! Lol
I'll just be rocking my secured Credit One credit card
Awesome Tim, cool video!
Thanks
gregft1979 if you’re in the US you’d still have to apply for the TSA precheck
Only if the card gets you first class lounge access without a first class ticket. That will be good.
Congrats bro, hard work definitely pays off💯
you look like Tom Cavanagh
Best of luck to you with your card you obviously deserve it use it responsibly possibly to help others
NICE, can't wait til i get mine ;)
Your 18 minute video seemed like 10 minutes, because I got really excited from the things you were talking about in this video and the way you interact with your viewers, this almost never happens to me, I wonder if that's also a part why you're succesful in business. Keep it up!
