@@lordfabulous6198The movie was named "Wish" that came out recently, Once upon a Studio is just an animated SHORT. But I don't blame you for not knowing the movie ever since Strange World, Elemental to Wish, the Marketing team did not do their job.
After all the terrible things Netflix has done with their animated properties the last few years, hopefully the success of this movie will lead to more projects in the future.

I cannot emphasize enough that the scene at 15:19 was a real scene in this movie. This was a genuine choice that a team of writers made. I watched this movie at 1 am on a whim and it took everything in me not to lose it laughing at that scene

Never thought I’d see a movie about one though. Was a lot of fun to watch, hopefully people will want to take care of animals more but stilll the exotic pet trade is it’s own problem, and invasive species in florida cry😢
Leo is actually a tuatara. Which makes a lot less sense, but that's what the movie says he is. Anyway, it's pretty wild how Adam Sandler made a better movie than Disney. It's a lot more wholesome and heartfelt than you'd expect. Also, the banter between Leo and Squirtle is golden.
That raises so many mote questions.
How can you enjoy the movie when the writers are too stupid to pick a lizard species that makes sence?

I love that everbody who watched this movie had the same reaction. We all went in expecting a mediocre Adam Sandler movie and were pleasantly surprised how good it actually was.
I like how the animals that live near humans are able to speak but the wild animals are not.
The wild animals speak in the movie, the scenes just got cut out of this video.

This really is an Adam Sandler movie. There is sometimes some real heart in the movie and maybe you can get a few laughs, but then you just have some WHAT THE FUCK moments that make you wonder who did this.
This story about a old reptile helping children with their problems is very cute and wholesome
My sister (5th grader) and I watched this movie and was kinda unexpected how accurate the portrayal of 5th graders are

Jayda, Summer, Leo, Anthony, and Skyler are my favorite characters but Mrs. Salinas' pregnancy storyline is my favorite storyline besides Jayda's perfection storyline and Summer's firstborn child syndrome storyline.
Surprisingly, I actually really enjoyed this movie. Also eight crazy nights isn’t that bad, it’s just a bit cringier than you’d expect

This movie is insane, has no demographic, and has a uncanny and inconsistent art style. Watching it feels like I'm on drugs and I love it.
I put this on for my younger cousin while i was taking care of him bc i thought it was some dumb animated kids movie but like 15 minutes in i was more immersed than him 💀

I know every story has to have the formulaic Second Act breakup, but that seems really contrived, that they can't "trust him," just because he spoke with the other kids? Like did they think he was only allowed to talk to one of them?

To be fair, animals are not supoose to talk to humans, because of obvious conotations. I feel it makes sense, but it doesn't really have many consquences to go with that.
I think they were more mad he lied to them bc he said to each of them that only they could hear him bc they were special. So maybe when they found out he lied they didn't feel special anymore idk
I'm assuming it's because Leo never necessarily said that he was talking to all the kids. He told each kid he wasn't SUPPOSSED to talk and the kid's assumed they were the one special kid who can understand animals. It's still silly, but I guess it's understandable.

8 crazy nights had the same character designs as Life with Louie, a tv cartoon series based on the comedian's childhood. That Adam Sandler movie was a horror night for me and some pals since we grew up with the Louie cartoon in the 2000s (an eastern european fox kids classic)

Most of the times it's a lie that doesn't even hurt characters, they literally can't come up with a conflict. This movie gives the EXACT same vibes and feeling as one of those 2nd/3rd grade chapter books we’d read that had talking animals (Mouse and the Motorcycle and Fantastic Mr. Fox and those kinds of books) AND the exact same vibes as an early 2000’s Dreamworks movie (like Bee Movie or Madagascar), and for some reason those two things mixed together just WORK for me. I loved this movie so much:)

Fun fact, Leo is stated to be a tuatara which is a lizard-like reptile native to New Zealand. While tuataras resemble lizards they are actually the last living species of their own family, they’re resemblance to lizards I think is due to convergent evolution.
