What a sweet message for your children, not killing the mouse. I had one in my house that took a very long time to catch. All 4 of my cats would watch him go to their food bowl and eat. Needless to say, I had to do their job. Also released!!!
You can see the wonderful parents these kids have. They didnt think about killing it once they got it, instead they thought about letting him go. This is so great. OH-MY-GOODNESS. I have rarely seen something that a parent has done that was so respectful of their child (and animals). Dave, you have the patience of Job. It would have been so easy for you to give up along the way, but you remained true to yourselves and honoured Claire and her love of animals. Plot twist: The mouse ran into the car while everyone was playing outside. J/K! 😂😂😂 Glad you guys were able to catch and release it. We did that to a mouse inside our home this past winter. It was just one rogue mouse, which was weird. We've never had mice before him, and never had mice after him, so we're not sure how he got in.

Dave OM-friggin-gosh!!! I bought the basic wyze indoor/outdoor recently, and we went on a 3 day vacay, 600+mi away right after. That cam helped notify us of sound and movement and our cat loved the gentle audio connection when we checked in and told her we love her. gave us peace of mind

This video had me laughing although in recent memory, I had an incident with a little mouse in my house on an unusual winter night when the temp was only 14 degrees (in the south)! The mouse got into a plastic bag, lining a small wicker trash basket, which I grabbed up & tied up and put into a 30-gallon trash can . . . all by itself . . . outside! But two days later, the bag containing the mouse was gone! So 'no' I don't know if it froze to death or where in the heck it went although from time to time someone seems to visit my property at night. So for sure gonna get a Wyze camera!
