Claire and Carson in the backseat is so inspirational there. Stuck on a runway for 6.5 and still completely sane. Your Christmas present turned out to be a one in million family vacation!!! I know how fun Lego land is because I have been there before it is so much fun there and my favorite part was the sealife aquarium part. Wow that would be my dream to go to the San Diego zoo, and to top it off SeaWorld I have been there before and it is the most amazing fun place. Your family is beautiful and I adore each one of your children God bless love you guys, and have A Happy New Year💕🎉!

This was so sweet! The patience on the plane. I'd have a meltdown. Claustrophobic! The children are calm. They are respectful and seem to always see the glass 1/2 full. Great parenting😊🤗💚 Being tired, frustrated, but creative, calm and communicating as a family. It's amazing to watch. So much love and respect. Happy 2022! Be safe, healthy and blessed!

Airports with little snow has few plows, so it takes forever to plow the runways.
Airports with a lot of snow have many plows and use minutes to clear the runways.
This vlog made me giggle, mostly thanks to wee June… “a short sleeping”, “police coming up”, “falingoes, but they smell” and the super dramatic rose ceremony were highlights 😆 Also, Ashley is a great travel strategist, I never would have thought. It looks like Plan B was pretty fun! Claire, your last words of 2021 were beautiful.

It’s so heart warming and also brings tears to see how much Claire knows she is blessed and realizes that it is so important to tell her family she loves them. It’s kind of sad because she clearly understands time is fleeting and it all doesn’t last forever. Growing up is beautiful and bittersweet.

A trip that will be remembered always and bring lots of laughs as one nightmare after another is retold!! For the children to see how Dave and Ashley keep calm under pressure and problem solve instead of taking it out on each other is a wonderful example of true love!!

I love Carson! He heard Claire's resolution and saw the reaction it generated, but instead of copying, like some would, he came out with his own very concrete and personal goal. Nice! (Looked like a stressful vacation for Mom and Dad figuring everything out, but you made it work, and it's one you'll always talk about!)
I really appreciate the way you both are raising your children , I know there is a lot that goes on off screen that we dont get to see , but I like how you let their little personalities shine , Its a true testament to how each child is given so much importance and bestowed with lots of love and affection! I pray that someday I will be blessed with wonderful children and raise them well.
This was truly an inspirational video. Seeing Dave and Ashley keep calm in the car and trying so many times to go over the hill, then trying to think of a plan to get home while also listening to Claire's suggestion (my dad would have been tired and nervous about the situation and shut me off probably), then doing the most of the time they were stuck there. Truly, wow. No wonder Claire wants to become like her parents

Sweetest part of the whole adventure? Carson and Claire praying together in the backseat as the van struggles to make it up the hill. You are doing such a great job of raising loving, wonderful kids! I lost track of you guys for awhile. Junes all grown up now. You have to be one of the best families that I’ve ever seen on UA-cam or anything else.Your just so well grounded and your kids can have their own opinion and you let them talk. You know like Claire wanted to build that rose and Dave said you know what I’m really tired tonight let’s do it tomorrow. However Claire pressed the issue, please dad. So he did it with her.
There aren’t many families that I see out there like you guys. I’m 63 so I’ve seen a lot of families growing up. Kudos to you guys & happy 2022.
The biggest disaster was the fact that you went to Seaworld! I was quite shocked, couldn't believe you would subject your children to that experience. I went to a similar theme park as a teenager in the 70's, but back then, we had no idea of the realities of such places. I still feel guilty though.

Been there, done that. We were in France for 2 weeks and on our way to the airport we found out all flights were cancelled out of Europe because of a volcano went off in Iceland. We wondered how is that relevant to flights out of France. Apparently if volcanic ash gets in the plane's engine, it shuts it down. So we were stuck in France a few more days. There are worst places to be stuck. lol But the scary part was, we had no idea when the flights would resume. Glad you all did make it to Lego land though. :)

There’s so much I love about this vlog update. June for a start. So cute. Then followed by Millie’s cuteness - that horn very clever for a one year old lol. And of course Claire and Carson.
