I know I'm in the minority (of one!) here but I just cannot fathom having a bag that women can't/don't close by the actual clasp in order to keep their items safe from falling out - and those two sticky-out bits across the front that look so odd, jutting out as they do ..... But I love to see how bags make Kristina so happy as she works so darned hard.
I agree 100% 😆 I’m not into these bags 👜 at all, I don’t even think they’re that pretty, but I get the appreciation and fascination with the quality and craftsmanship. But I can’t stand a purse that I can’t get in and out of easily!

I always wondered about that! Everyone that gets these bags shows them open! I don’t get it. Is it that they don’t close properly? Or is it just “the look?” Why spend so much money on a bag you can’t or won’t close?!
Most modern bags have very simple closures (a magnetic closure, a single zip, a popper) infact many totes are simply open on the top (Goyard, LV) Hermes are a heritage brand, completely handmade and their designs are from a time before the fast paced modern world, or based on those designs. The Birkin is mostly used as an open tote but the Kelly is generally closed by 1 single closure. The sangles are generally redundant on both but do look so classy in my opinion.

Hey Kristina! Congrats on your new stunning bag! Just out of curiosity, have you had to do much pre-spend to get your bags from the boutique? You might not show us all of your purchases, but from what I’ve noticed, it doesn’t seem like you do a lot of pre-spend but still get offered bags pretty consistently, which is truly quite impressive!!! I know most people are spending so much with pre-spend (like 1:1, 2:1, 3:1 or even more!) in order to get quota bags but wow, you’re definitely quite lucky if you’re getting quota bag offers without much pre-spend!

I really love both the Kelly and Birkin equally. I want to get a kelly 25 in barenia leather with palladium hardware. I'm using a kelly 28 in etoupe with gold now with a gold kelly strap with pouch. My favorite straps!

Hi!!! May I ask how much you paid approximately.
Congrats on your new adding. Just wondering, when they call you do you have to get there within a set amount of time? It sounds like many people go the same day but assume if you were out of town or couldn’t get there for a couple of days they’d still hold it for you.
It definitely depends but yes, they usually have a timeframe on them. The associate gets to make the offer and it sounds like they have to close the deal within a day or two. Of course I’m sure for very high profile clients they will wait as long as a week. The rules are interesting though. They cannot ship the bag to you, Bags can never be shipped. It’s very interesting. So it literally has to be picked up in person.
