Will theJAP 5 engine fire up or will a little bit more tinkering be required,follow me on this journey to get this 1947 machine up and running

Excellent video Terry, enjoying this series 👍 The fact it fired is a good sign and I suspect the reason it didn't want to play is down to the carb.... If it hasn't been apart I would suspect it's got crud in the bowl and a blocked jet..... hopefully won't take much to get her running 🤞

Thank you,now we’re underway on the project it will start getting interesting,Was thinking the same about the carb,will strip it down and give it a good clean etc,will give the mag a good clean too and reset the points,I’ll try and film some of the tinkering and cleaning for part 3 👍
