    Ok I use a similar approach with From the Earth dry amendments...to me your ratios are off tho bro. Azomite, Humic Acid both are 2-3 Tablespoons per gallon of soil...you added teaspoons. Jeremy from Buildasoil talks about balance when building your soil...I use the ratios recommended on the box cut by 50%, but In Balance to each other...the girls absolutely 💯 love it. Keep on growin

    I use two tarps. I roll one tarp on to the other and the soil as it mixes looks like a wave. I flip the 2 tarps about 3 times and I'm blended. I add wood chips also

    I've seen some people use a large capacity concrete mixer to blend it all together. If done dry, there is nothing remaining in the drum after 10 or 15 minutes, and it's well mixed. The tarp method seems pretty good, but takes longer to blend. Nice growing mix. Should produce strong, healthy plants that have everything they need for a great fruiting season. Last year I used recycled soil from cannibis beds with almost no amendments. I noticed deficiency right away with some heavy feeder plants. My toms needed blood meal and calcium nitrate, but I managed to dose the plants with a watery slurry of gypsum once every ten days which keep away BER from ripening fruits. Gonna do things differently this coming season. Have two huge compost piles now that are frozen solid, so may not be totally ready 'til the following season -- just have mix it well this summer. Should be great compost when ready.

    Green sand down-to-earth amendments creates a slow release on your super charged soil mix, And compost tea activates the super soil mix, Good compost tea should contain thousands of beneficial microorganisms; this increases the chances that some of them will be able to bind and break down the range of contaminants on your site.

      Aeration, same as perlite. A lot of people say red rock or "lava" rock is even better to use than perlite

    Will you need nutrients during the life of the plants or will the super soil feed them?

      Maybe a little compost tea every couple wks... feed the microbes not the plant. Just water and tea. I feel the soil will buffer the ph but a water ph of 6.5-6.8 for soil like this is ideal. Good luck.

    Will this keep the plants for the whole grow?

    • @enviticus
      @enviticus 4 роки тому

      Yes it will. You may need to add a little epsom salt to your water right when they start stretching and maybe a little liquid kelp in your water when the buds start stacking.. other than that you should be good to go.. that's just my experience anyway

      Oh, and the most important thing is to filter your water with just a carbon filter if you live in town. Chloramine or chlorine will decimate all microbiology in your soil. If you have well water you shouldn't have to filter at all.

    What is the point of "cooking" the soil? Would like to get some insite !

    • @coloradogrown2286
      @coloradogrown2286 4 роки тому +2

      You dont have to cook it you can use it right away but by cooking it you will kill any unwanted pest.

    • @Kghost0311
      @Kghost0311 4 роки тому +3

      The "cooking" is for the beneficial bacteria to breaking down the amendments so that it is readily available for the plant when it needs it. With this mix the microbes work with the soil all you have to do is feed it with "sugars" like molasses based tea for food

      I’m still learning about the biology of soil and I bought a microscope and as soon as I get the different dye then I can check for nematodes protozoa’s and other living micro organisms in my soil.

      @@cqammaz53 super soil is very hot so you fill only 1/2 or 1/3 of the bottom part of the pot.
