I think that watching your own children on Christmas morning is better than Christmas morning when you were a kid yourself. It makes me so happy seeing the excitement and happiness on my kids faces Christmas morning.
Bonnie and Joel, I love the way y’all celebrate Christmas. There are so many other UA-cam that are a big disappointment to me. Yours was so refreshing, like when I was young. We all took turns at opening gifts too.
I really love what you said before opening gifts, I feel like so many people have lost the real meaning of Christmas. Your family sure hasn’t and it was so beautiful.
One family ripped through their gifts it seemed like in about 5 minuets. It was saddening, I made a comment about it and was called names, also saying that is the way all children act.
My children and grandchildren open gifts just like your family. Parents really need too teach their children love, respect and patience. Of course your children were very excited as children are but, they showed excitement for each individual gift they opened.
Thus far, the best Christmas video I’ve seen yet. Thank you for letting us in your lives and sharing your ‘speech’ at the beginning. Very loving like your entire family.

I needed that when you said Jesus loves you that made me smile from the inside out I was in foster care for a long time and I did not have anyone to love on me and I felt empty inside and then I finally got adopted and I am loved unconditionally and I tell my friends and family that I'm adopted twice I'm adopted by God and I'm adopted by my parents that love me forever. PS I've been struggling with low self-esteem and feeling like no one loves me and I just found you guys a couple days ago and been watching your Vlogs and videos and what not and I've heard that you said Jesus loves you uncontrollably so that just helped me tons thank you I would sure like to meet you guys one day.

I go to church to!!! it is very rare that I can find other Christians on UA-cam I just started whatching you guys and I can tell that you are a great family! And yes mom you are right some children don't get good or great as our child hoods and I want to make the world a better place as I grow up and sometimes we might feel down but we get back up again and move on and learn from our mistakes and I am lucky because I have the best mom I could ever have.

I never got a loving family nor a loving good feeling Christmas I’m almost to 18yrs and watching these while growing up was just a comfort to me I’ll never get to experience Christmas as a kid again but I’m having my own baby know and I’m gonna do my best to make them feel as special as possible and as loved by me and their dad as I can because they deserve to feel the way your children feel bc I wish I had a mom and dad like you guys growing up my life would’ve been a lot different I would’ve been a lot different

This makes me so excited for Christmas I love giving my family and friends presents and watching them open them
Listening in on your convo to the kids about your christmas' in the past was so meaningful. Our baby came 7 weeks early the medical bills are horrendous and been back and forth to the hospital. Our families arent around for support either. I've been feeling so down lately due to the fact we can't afford Christmas this year. I just wanted to have a memorable first Christmas with our little one.
