Not realeasing this entire show in this type of quality should be considered a crime against art
I understand this is a one time thing that nobody really knew about, but why aren’t there professional recordings of all these songs? This is an iconic moment in US music history to me and has so little true exposure.
Word!!!
yeah I agree, what the hell??? This would've been mad to record. why not the whole thing?!!!
LEGENDARY!!!
Its not that deep little bro
@@EDaBeast it is
3:34 you know the performance was beyond amazing when you see the conductor jamming out
Right!
Jahari Wallen OMG i saw that. But like wouldn’t you if you were him?
HAHA
Now THIS is Art. Just wait and see, by the time he has finished his career he will be considered the greatest MC of all time.
***** Pretty much another word for rapper, it means Mic Controller or Master of Ceremony
+Pickle Tickler Yes sir.
+Pickle Tickler i think so too
+Pickle Tickler Isn't he already? : )
The Ciller Experience He is the best of the last decade, not sure I would rate him the best of all-time just yet though. I'm sure he will be though ;)
the symphony orchestra with one of the best rappers currently alive? that's insane
Victoria the best*
What other rappers can claim to have had an original beat played in Lincoln Center. This dude is beyond accomplished.
@@psquareflight nas and every rapper on trap symphony. Unless they actually did something original that wasn't in the original song here, than probably nobody.
Now I want to see him do a Red Bull Symphonic show.
What a genius, this damn near brought a tear to my eye, get it Kendrick!
+Azerrz He *did* bring a tear to my eye
what's up bro
man I thought I was the only one that almost cried!!! the sound my God
+Azerrz It touches your soul !!!
You bring tears to my eyes.
He's so simple, so talented and look at his face. Aw.
tpab was beyond rap and hiphop. it was a freaking masterpiece
I loved the Jazz and funk influences on it
He should have had back ground singers
Yeah, would of made it more complete
+I Don't Follow (A Nigga Been Trill) YEA I WAS LOOKIN OUT FOR ANNA WISE...BUT I THINK THE BACKGROUND SINGERS MIGHT OVER SHADOW THE 96 PIECE ORCHESTRAL SOUNDS - MIGHT BE WHY THEY DIDNT BOTHER, SHIT WILL BE COMPETING FOR SOUND SPACE - THE SAX IS ALREADY ALMOST OVERBEARING
+Laura Monti CAPS LOCK!
Kai Campbell hahaha!
Yeah that would make it pop more. other than that. that was a masterpiece
Once more Kendrick proved that he is one of the most talented and influential musicians of his generation. Right now he is writing history and he will be well remembered decade after decade. He proved that he still is and always will be King Kendrick.
+Yasen Taha Why? Artists have been performing songs with Symphonies literally forever... Nothing too new here
Maybe he's talking Hip Hop wise. Kendrick is only the 2nd rapper (1st is Nas last year) to perform with the NPO at the Kennedy Center.
*NSO
+HipHopLover93 R&BLover93 Kanye did it awhile back with Late Orchestration. Check it out on UA-cam
Not at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. This is more renowned and prestigious.
Man this is my first time seeing this and I got chills 🔥🔥
Kendrick Lamar is the greatest artist that ever happen to this generations.
What makes this performance even sweeter is this orchestra group usually performs with artist who have 20-30 year long careers. Kendrick is a legend already.
I can't wait to hear "For Free" with the National Symphony, if that ever comes out.
Anyone that got to see one of these orchestral TPAB performances is actually one of the luckiest people alive
Kendrick is an ARTIST. Not just another emcee. TO PIMP A BUTTERFLY was the best album to drop in 2015.
Wrong, it was the best album of the decade
@@ebenezeramare1 imo the best album ever lol
@@trich103 sonically, DEFINITELY.
i thank God for Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean

This song sounds even more beautiful with an orchestra 🔥🔥🔥
Kennedy Center we want more in this quality!
I AGREE!!
TPAB was such a trip...a true classic...thank you Kendrick.
that saxophone bruh!!!
Man the entire Symphony, their bassline is EVERYTHING!!!!!
Exactly what I was thinking
Sounds good 🎵
that trumpet and trombone
The guy with the baton takes all the attention on the video.
I need a full live album of this...NOW 😭😭😭
Last break into the chorus gives me chills
This performance brought a tear to my eye I've been a fan of kendrick since section 80 and the mix tapes and to see him go in to success is beautiful
It is criminal that you haven't put the whole concert up.
It really is💔
My God. Kendrick is on another level. He's not just a rapper, he's an artist, a genius. This is Art! Unfortunately not everybody understands all this stuff. I think Kdot (and Jcole) are not for everyone. Great work!
j Cole is better tho TPAB was wack compared To GKMC
+devin lopez So just because you think J. Cole is better means everyone else is wrong? ummm okay
+devin lopez nah k dot is better
+devin lopez You are stupid a fuck.
+devin lopez you just agreed with what she said . kendrick lamar isnt for everyone including you . j cole is the same , I've heard people diss him , especially about his last album because it wasnt "commercial" enough .
This is amazing.
love how the whole band is into it as well like theyre fans and understand the chance theyve been given. Kendrick is one of a kind
he is a true artist. he really is.
Kendrick has grown on me, he was never my favorite or an MC or rapper I even listened to or even considered myself enjoying and now I would place him as probably a top 3 rapper of all time, To Pimp a Butterfly is in my eyes is gonna go down as a top 10 rap album of all time, Untitled Unmastered gave me goosebumps just like TPAB and it was only a collection of 8 songs considered "not good enough to make the cut for the album," right there is where, for me, as a huge fan and follower of him, now made me realize that everything he's ever put out is just great and he's one of the most talented rappers of all time, he's not gangster, he's not a push over or anything, but he's simply Kendrick and he's creating such a unique sound for all of us to listen to, the mix of jazz and old school with hip hop is special and he's a performer and artist in my eyes more than he'll ever be a rapper
Amen to that which is why I want to be the kind of artist that inspires and not acting like everyone else but myself
Kendrick is GOAT
Lol
He truly is
Earl lyrically
G Gravenberch nah
More of these should be done and tour around the world. Nothing beats live music.
drake could never
This performance gave me chills. I love this man so much
This symphony is everything!!! Seriously It's so beautiful
This boy is on another stratosphere!! Musical genius and perfectionist of his craft. All his albums put out messages that are deep. The average listener won't get it. King Kendrick

Just watching KDot change the world.....looks so much better with him here. Bless you.

Kendrick has came a long way. This is what happens when rappers rap something real they get international exposure instantly.
Kendrick Lamar is a musical genius. He is a magnetic presence on stage. His music is so full of life--I can only take a little at a time. Well done, sir...
