1-2 warm up sets (after you’ve stretched) 4-6 working sets if going heavy 6-8 reps moderate 8-10, light weight 10-12 (or 15 if you really want it to burn)

hahah bruv the goal isn’t to follow along, it’s to learn the concepts he’s explaining and apply it to your training. what joe and terrence are doing is exactly what is required for them, but is likely different for you- so rather than following the exact same rep scheme, like ^ said, watch the vid and apply the knowledge

Good point in the less is more discussion. I've always figured that if you went to gun-to-your-head failure on a particular exercise then you wouldn't really be deriving much benefit from another exercise that's very similar to it so I really appreciate how you like to avoid exercises that would be fairly redundant.

So would you recommend the “less is more” aspect to everyone? Would the less is more approach still work for someone trying to lose weight? The reason for my question is that after a year of falling off the wagon I fell like I’ve finally been able to buckle myself back in. I’ve gained a good amount of fluff. Currently I am dieting and have had good adherence to my diet. Currently I am going into my workouts with energy while still averaging 1 pound of weight loss a week. Ive been keeping my energy expenditure roughly the same every day by hitting an calorie goal on my watch. I know that fitness trackers are not exact. I’m using it solely to ensure my activity level is not dropping due to a reduction of calories. However, often I have to do more sets to reach that caloric expenditure Goal on my watch. While trying to do minimal cardio due to an injured knee.
Love the channel and thank you for the helpful content.

I have stopped lifting for 6 years- i am 31 now - and was doing a 2x marathon during that time. Tissue loss was extrem and I starting getting back into it just for the feel.
If you stay consistant you will be amazed how fast everything is coming back, at least I am after after 3 months. And thats with a bad setup since gyms are closed in europe.
Honestly stay with it and dont worry about the results.
