A very special "thank you" to my fiance Lys, who assisted with Horace's stutter and continues to provide endless love and support.
Finally, of course, thank you to all of you for listening!

Walter sounds like one of those guys who chucks the instruction manual for something out with the packaging because "I'm smart, therefore using this should be easy!"
“English side ruined, must use French instructions.”
Fantastic work Mike! Walter and Winnie are certainly the pair. And of course it's awesome to see someone delvin into the W&S and actually be original, not to mention the fact there's hardly any information on this Railway at all. Since I see a part two in my notifications I can't wait to see what happens next!
Very good! Glad to see somebody cover these old signals - they certain had interesting methods of operation!
As soon as I discovered this one in particular, I knew it had to use it - it was practically begging to be the focus of a story!
@@TheBuriedTruck Hello, dude, can I ask a question about the engines of the Wellsworth and Suddery Engines.
@@ryanlister1244 of course!
@@TheBuriedTruck Well, dude, what are the engines of the Wellsworth and Suddery Railway based on.
@@ryanlister1244 Walter and Winnie are based on Maning Wardle K Class engines, while Horace is a Sharp Stewart 0-6-0 Tank Engine based on the ones owned by the Cornwall Minerals Railway!
Love these stories so much 🚂
So both Walter and Winny were the original saddle tank engine twins of Wellsworth before Bill and Ben?!
The latter two would never hear the end of it! 😂
You never fail to impress even at the beginning of the video I know it’ll be good
Man, this was a nice surprise to wake up to!
Wouldn’t it make more sense to make the manning wardles Billy and Charlie?
You know two manning wardles from the TVS?
@@karenfan010 because I didn’t feel like using Charlie and Billy? I wanted a fresh slate of characters to work with.
@@TheBuriedTruck Sure but still it fits like a glove.
Plus that gives an opportunity to rewrite them to be more likeable.
@ I’m just not a fan of plopping TVS characters into a RWS setting. I’d rather try and make something more unique. Billy and Charley also aren’t the right type of Manning Wardles - they’re L classes, whereas the W&S engines were Q classes.
@@TheBuriedTruck Oh, I didn’t know that.
But still there are a hand full of TVS characters that fit into the railway series like a glove.
Cranky, Arry and Bert, Salty, Arthur, Murdoch, Spencer, heck even Mighty Mac and Freddie.
Heck characters like Salty, Arthur Neville and Dennis have real life numbers so by technicality that kinda makes them RWS cannon.
@ and by all means, if you want to write them into a RWS setting, go ahead! I don’t think there’s anything wrong with people doing that - it’s just not the route I would choose to take.

"JONES, YOU-!"
XD!
I didn’t know I needed this so much
I love these stories also are these W&S engine models private
I'm only asking, but did Wildnorwestern's original characters (Colin(1), Lily(2), and Adam(3)) inspire you to do your take on the Welsworth and Suddery railway? Now, I can't help but wonder what would happen if the 4 W&S blues met the 3 W&S maroons.
@@landonmarlin6116 not directly, no - though I am a fan of WNW’s work!
Does anyone know the real-life equivalent of that signal? I would like to find out more about them.
Here is a great resource! www.heritage-railways.com/glossary/sigs.php
@@TheBuriedTruck Thank you very much. Now all that's left is to find a Trainz model of the Three Position signal.
@@TheBuriedTruckWhat class engine is Horace?
