Before I can continue to another gamechunk I have to complete:
1. All of the highest level skilling challenges (including skillcapes)
2.Do all available achievement diary tasks
3. Obtain all unique monster drops
4. Obtain all unique items in a chunk
5. Get all unique minigame rewards

If you ever grind out skull sceptre charges, bring a chisel with you since you can convert the scepture pieces into stackable bone fragments
Not sure if you want to include it, but there's a Crack the Clue outfit piece that you can get in the Stronghold of Security. It's called the Socks of Ruin and only requires you to do some emotes in certain spots to get it. The wiki has a guide on what to do.
This series is wild cause he's got three 'death chunks' looming and 99 MINING IS NOT ONE OF THEM.
99 Mining isn't really that bad, i did 92-99 mining at Amethyst while working and it only took a couple months. Even doing motherlode mine at super afk rates would've halved that time.

If he gets lumby tree patch and Fally farm, then farming cape stops being a death chunk.

Edit: At least that's the reason I am aware of.

If you do end up unlocking the other Falador chunk, you might have a good bit of construction xp stacked up in the form of iron/coal from your mining grind, since steel bars can be used to make certain furniture for 20xp each. Might be faster than spending an arm and a leg on bagged plants.
Definitely faster. It would take 1700+ hours just to get the gold doing agility pyramid.
Unfortunately, you still need a saw to make those items, even the ones that only require steel bars. He can't get a saw right now.

To my knowledge, only one person has ever gotten an onyx from a gem bag, or at least only one confirmed by Jagex themselves as legitimate lol.

You can obtain both fighting and fancy boots at once. Wear them, fill your inventory with items that are always kept on death (e.g., some quest items such as the shield of Arrav keys), and then die. The boots will stay on the ground when you respawn, and you should have enough time to grab the other ones and come back to pick up the original ones.
I started watching this series a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely love it, Limpwurt! The bit about Washington, Ghengis and Jesus was so well made. Your humor is excellent and makes this insane display of discipline and determination even better. Kudos to you!

Limp, if 89 crafting is the toughest part of the grind, wouldnt it make sense to wear a glory while mining to get more gems to chisel?

You can keep the gem bag open in your inventory so the gems from mining automatically go in there

Use gem bag and a charged glory, you'll rack up loads of gems passively. Recharge dragonstone scroll if you have any from caskets!

There is a construction method with buckets of sand. I forget what but it may be faster for you since you can get those easily
Keep fly fishing rod & feathers in the inv, gear up and afk the level 49/50 Catas. They drop frag pieces, 15x essence, laws and coal. (If ya wanna AFK those essence and melees)

So I know there was a statement about how you wouldn't take any "pity" updates that would give you a saw. However, there's a caveat I'm curious about.
If and or when sailing is released, there's a pretty good chance a whole slew of new spawns and items come into the game. If at any point this includes new requirements to old chunks will you go back for them before continuing? Also if at any point they do include a saw for use in the new skill will you use it?
When the shooting stars update came out he went back to do that so I’d say so

While mining, you should wear a glory and have gem bag! with how long you are mining, it would actually amount to a few hundred thousand crafting xp by the end

The gem bags can also contribute to crafting xp, albeit 3 weeks since he realized this video. Wouldn't be surprised if he already has 99 mining.

Not sure if you have a way to obtain a charged glory or not without legends guild or heroes but if you do have a way it would be wise to wear one while mining for extra gems
personally with the red topaz and such i would make bracelets of slaughter and expeditious bracelets because they can help with slayer
