    Be interesting to see what your thoughts are on the Lyngdorf 1120 and NAD M1 v3. Both have room correction and supposed to pair great with Dali

    I think roksan blak more refined. And i prefer denon in this comparison. And please tell what's your choice. What speaker?

    That kid is the best. As for the gear, the Denon seems to be better in the bass, better low end. Hard to tell by video.

    Have you hooked up the dali rubicon 2s to any of the nad Amplifiers? eg c399

      @@mykeldg Thank you very much for your quality comparisons.
      Now, thanks to you, I have decided on two acoustic options: rubicon 2 vs special forty.
      I have a question: I have a Denon PMA 1500ae, which of the two acoustics will it play better with?
      Is it powerful enough for these speakers?
      PS: from your comparisons, I understand that the sp40 have deep mids and bass, and the rub2 have more refined highs?
      Thank you for such truthful and accurate tests, continue your hobby.

    Hi there i love my Rubicon 2 and curently looking for amp to match is Roksan Blak have a good synergy with dali? I like engaging ,musical sound with emotions and kick

      @@dano1672 yes its the best amp i heard with the rubicons other than class a. Its quite mid forward though so see if you like that kind of sound. Its a but tubey and Like the vocalist is the center of the show. For other good pairing are denons ( especially oma 2500 or pma a110) have good synergy also its not as full as the roksan in the mids but the bass and soundstage is its strong suit.

      Thank You kindly for very valuable suggestions.I've tried couple amps and didn't like any of them but Roksan could be the one.
      See if it's going to be fun for listening rock/metal music.
      All the best and thanks again

      Technics su-g700m2 crisp and clean sound BUT total missmatch with Rubicons ,lacking body ,musicality and engagement,pure technical analitical amp and strangely due to LAPC calibration some bits in music were missing ,very weird.

    Hello, Myke! Dali s fan:)) I have also a pair of dali oberon 3 and i like them a lot. I saw now it s dali rubikore series, rubikore 2. What do you think, will a big upgrade if i buy them?

    • @mykeldg
      @mykeldg  6 місяців тому

      i havent heard them but for me even rubicon 2 is a big upgrade from ob3. based on this you might really like the new line. (though i heven't heard them. if your tight on budget used epicon 2 or rubicon 2 are good alternatives too if you can find them. i hope they improved bass extension in the new line because that is the one shortcoming i have with dali bookshelves

    Hi, I have pair of the rubicon 2s, which would be the better pair Nad c298 or Roksan blak? I will probably connect to a streamer (cambridge cxn or node icon when released) great video.

    • @mykeldg
      @mykeldg  4 місяці тому

      i prefer the roksan. but at that price point, a personal in-store demo with your speakers are a must. roksan will be warmer, more forward midrange, more musical. nad will be flat, less character (some prefer that) and louder you'd also need a preamp.

    • @gxnshotz4294

      Is it not possible to use the balanced connections out on the streamer (cambridge cxn or node icon) and use that as a preamp ?

      Have the roksan blak it sounds great, only thing I feel is missing is the bass punch of my other amplifier the nad c700, the blaks bass is softer by comparison, also there is not as much volume of bass, is this a class d vs a/b thing?

    Denon by far. Sound is more clear and smoth. The Roksan to me just dosn't sound right. With the denon the main part of the music is in front and sound clear. With the Roksan it kind of buried and over all sound is not so clean. The Roksan is just bully.
