So here's how it's gonna go... I'm gonna color some book pages and while they're drying I'll do my chores, then when I'm done I get the reward of paper play! Look at you, helping me get my chores done really quickly. Thanks for that. 😁 With love from the Southern California desert, MK ❤☀️🌵
Haha Perfect! Good thinking! 😃
When you use a brad in the center. It's easy to put a paperclip between the back of the flower and the backside of the brad for an altered paperclip.
Great idea, thank you! ❤️
Oh wow Barbara, I loved all your flowers so much, you are so clever cutting them by hand. Love that you combined the lace and the paper btw, yes I love my heat gun. I am feeling super inspired to make some flowers today, thank you x
Aw, thanks Tina! You are such an inspiration for me and I love your lace flowers so much! ❤️
Wow!!...this is so captivating and beautiful🌸....this is a really unique idea..your creativity is at the top🤩you are my favourite!!!😊❤
Aaaaaw, you make me blush! ❤️
These looks so cute, fun to make. And you explain it very well 😘💕😘 it reminds me of the days before Christmas when I used to sit down with my dad to cut stars and ice crystals from shiny paper. It's the same method and I loved to do that. I might just go and have a star making session this year again with my dad 😍👍🎄
Thanks sweetie! Oh that sounds like such a sweet memory with your dad! Would be great if you could do that again! ☺️
Love your flowers and the fact your not using fancy dies. Thanks.
I love to see your videos ... especially when you laugh so much about little „mistakes“! 😘
Thank you! So happy to share my mistakes since I mess up all the time! 😃
49dragonflies ... No, that‘s not right. You do not make mistakes very often. 😘
I love them. I will make some sometime.
What a fun project! Can't wait to make some! It kind of reminds me of folding and cutting paper squares to make snowflakes. I love the idea of putting a sequin or brad for the center. Thanks, Barbara! You're always inspiring.
Thanks Amy! It’s really super fun! Yes, totally reminds me of cutting snowflakes ❄️ 😃
Hi Barbara loved the flowers.
Hi Barbara, love your flowers very pretty . Interesting video 💞💕💞
Thanks Fern, I hope you try these! 😊
You are very creative I never think of creating material like that. I do need to pull out my large bucket of the stuff and start creating when I get the time.
Thanks Tammy! It’s great to have embellishments like these ready to go 😃
It's funny you mentioned Tina because I came to find this video after she mentioned you in today's video which was inspired by you.
I think tomorrow I will be making flowers while wintery weather goes on outside. ;)
xoxo
Haha funny coincidence! Tina is awesome! 😃
I so enjoyed watching this video that I began coloring some music pages. I used 'bingo daubers' to do this and they turned out beautifully. Bingo daubers are readily available at thrift stores and are super cheap and also come in a variety of colors. Thanks for the inspiration, Barbara. 😊
I love these flowers!! I’ll have to make some with my grandchildren!💗 TFS! Blessings ❤️
Thanks Nora! Enjoy! 😃
Your flowers are amazing. No expensive dies wow.. Thank you.
fabulous ideas with the flowers, Barbara. I love it.
Thanks Karen, happy you enjoyed it! 😃
how cool was this! I never thought of hand cut flowers for decorations.
OMG I LOVE THESE FLOWERS! 😍😍😍 I tried to make one while I was watching your video and I really like how it turned out.
Love alm the different flowers
Lovely flowers and love your pages you've used them on too 😊😊😊💛🧡💙
Thanks sweetie! They are very addictive! ☺️
These are great and I can make them without even having a flower punch or dies. Wonderful.
Love the flowers Barbara, definitely need a few for my autumn journal! Thanks for sharing, stay safe xxx💕
Thanks Susie! Enjoy making these! 🥰
Yes I totally agree with you, it is addictive once you get started it's so much fun and you don't want to stop. I must say that I love them as much as I love the 5 petals flowers from Joie de fi. The other day I have made some from used up coffee filters. Thanks for sharing.
Joie’s are fun too! 😃
Love the flowers. I have many left from my scrapbooking days. Maybe I can make some and use some the ones I have to create a more vintage look.
That sounds like a fabulous idea, Barbara! 😃
it's Chinese. :) I'm watching from China. Junk journaling is becoming popular here. A store just opened near where I live and your videos are great to learn what it's all about. I'm more into card making but I love the things you make and listening to you. :)
Thanks so much Sue! How cool that it’s becoming poplar even in China! 😃👍🏻
Good job teaching! This will be fun. Thanks 😻.
Thanks Laurie! Have fun with these! 🥰
So easy and mindfulness!
Великолепно! Золотые руки!!!
Nice! Really cute. Thanks for sharing. 💠🌸🌼🌺🌹
These are beautiful, I'll try to make these soon hopefully. It seems like once you start making them, it goes by pretty fast. Tfs
Thanks! Yes, they go fast and are very addictive 😃
Very nice!!!
Little by little I am watching your older videos and I find these very addicting! Beautiful!
Aaaaw thank you! ❤️
Barbara, thank you for your demonstration. Flowers are stunning as is your journal. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺
Very clever and also beautiful. I love handmaking things, without tools such as punches, where possible. Very satisfying. Thank you for sharing. 🇦🇺 Anx thank you for generously sharing your tips.
Love them, so fun.
You are brilliantly artistic! These flowers are wonderful. Thank you for showing us how to make them. Also, I really enjoyed seeing the tin you use for your watercolor. Great idea!
Thanks Amy! I’m happy this was useful! ❤️
I love your Chanel Barbara ❤️your ideas are always new and you and so refreshing,
It’s my favorite place to be
Hugs. Maggie 🎄❤️🤗🇨🇦❤️🎄
Aaaaaw thank you! ❤️❤️❤️☺️ It’s also my favorite place to be! 😃
Can't wait to try making these beautiful flowers. Off to watercolor some book pages and find fabric scraps. I'm going to adapt them for scrapbooking. Thank you!!!
Cool! Have fun! 😃❤️
Great video 😍 Thanks for sharing 🙏🌺🌼🌻🌹🏵
These are lovely flowers. Never thought of trying to make them without a die. Thank you for another inspiring video!
Thanks, my pleasure! ☺️
I made some out of coffee dyed paper. After it was made, I crinkled them up and then opened them up...it gave them texture. I sponged ink on the wrinkles, just a bit ❤️❤️❤️
That sounds like a great idea as well! 👍🏻😃
That blue flower said only after you! Really pretty 🌸 fun flowers 🌺 . Thank you so much
Love the flowers. The older looking ones are my favorite.
I made a bunch with different types of paper. I then tried with fabric and the flowers looked awesome! Thanks for teaching us!! Hugz
My pleasure! I’m sure they are super cute with fabric! 😃
I have always thought flowers were too bulky for journals but these flatter ones will be perfect! Can't wait to try them!
I thought the same, but these are great! 😘
These are really cute! I love that you just colored book pages! We get so stuck in thinking we have to buy something more all the time. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks Laura! That’s true, it’s so easy to get sucked into wanting more all the time rather than using what we already have. I think we lose some of our creativity by innig so much!
These are so nice, I like the less than perfect ones as opposed to the punched ones. Thanks for sharing! I love your talents!
Love this one, just found it! Sometimes old videos make you find something new😅
I just made some of these and it was so much fun! They turned out really well.
These look so fun. I want to just sit and cut the shapes and then randomly put them together. Busy work lol
You do that! 😃
Enjoyed learning how to make these beautiful flowers . Thank you so much.
My pleasure! ☺️
So cute! Just like making snowflakes as a child. 😁 Thanks for sharing. I will definitely give these a try!
Thanks Sharon! Yes, that’s what I was reminded of as well! 😊
These little paper flowers are darling!!
Beautiful and I am gonna make some tomorrow.

Hello from Tennessee ( USA) your flowers are beautiful and I want to make some
going to attempt to make some thanks for sharing!!!!!
Sooo, cute! I can’t wait to try these shapes. I have only just begun to make paper flowers. I love the addition of lace too. Thank you for showing how you make these beautiful flowers!

Those flowers are very pretty. I like the coloured book pages too.
Great inspiration, thank you for explaining in such detail because I've tried them before and just managed to cut them apart..😂😂😂👍👏 Hello, from Greece!
Thanks Maria! I’m happy this was helpful! 😃
That is so cool.. definitely gonna try TFS 👍🏻
I really enjoyed this video!. I know what you mean that it's addictive 😄 but it's a lot of fun not knowing what the end result will be. Loved all your creations Barbara.
Thanks Mirella! ❤️
So adorable. Love ❤️ these I'm gonna have to try and make some.
I finally recieved my tear ruler today!!!! I ordered it over a month ago (after watching and drolling over you using yours) but since it had to come from Spain, t took a while to get to me....but well worth the wait...It is AWESOME!!!
YAY! It’s a game changer, isn’t it! Have fun with it! 😃
Making flowers is fun. I made some a while ago using printed paper and my distressed inks but used my flower dies. I will have to try this, thanks again for an inspiring video.🥰
My pleasure! ☺️. They are really fun to make! 😃
I love this!! I’m going to try this myself. I never knew I could make paper flowers just by folding the paper. I was thinking I’d have to draw them and make a stencil, etc., but this is so much easier and also encourages me to try out different petal shapes! I always love your videos and your ideas, and I love hearing you laugh and have a sense of humor and curiosity about crafting. Your laugh is infectious! :). Thank you for sharing so much of your lovely projects!
Thank you Danielle! Have fun making flowers! ❤️
Hearst castle is amazing! My favorite coastal area to visit.

LOVE THIS!! Have been sitting here making cute little paper flowers with you. SO FUN. And new to me. On to another one of your videos. I'm a FAN!
These look lovely and fun! Yes the die cuts definitely don’t have the same charm as the hand cut ones. Although it did look pretty when you mixed them together. Love the addition of fabric. Can’t wait to try a few and start experimenting, tfs 😍
Thanks Lorraine! Wishing you lots of fun with these! ☺️
Very pretty and great idea. Hugs 🤗 DarvaDee USA 🇺🇸

I love your paper flowers. The book pages ines are really nice.
I've made paper flowers a couple of times. The first time I used a flower paper pad that I got from Walmat and stacked them from bigger to smaller. I liked them so much hat I bought a second pad to make them again. The second time I used my five shaped punches. They are nice too. I just bout a new different shape d flower punch and an looking forward to making more flowers.
