Does anyone else get away with buying a new watch and when your wife questions it you just say she he already seen it. I'm at peek for this now and last 5 watches she hasn't said anything. She's either stopped caring or she's gathering evidence for the divorce

the Grannies Broach for the Breitling is HILARIOUS
Yes. The GW-M5610u. Keep singing it's praise. I love mine. Took it out for a swim in the sea last week. Held up beautifully, as expected. It has it all. 200 meters water resistance, solar powered, keeps perfect time, won't break if you drop it. All this at an affordable price. It's just perfect.
This watch could easily replace all my autos & be a true 1-watch collection for me. I do love it!
The wife is 100% spot on about the Fortis...it is cool and it just works😎
The way you feel about the Doxa with its Cousteau ties is that exactly how I feel about my Squale 1521 with its ties to Mayol and other champion divers ❤ great picks Russ!

That Fortis of yours really is a stunner. It has that "wow" factor- by which I mean, it has the look I thought was ultimately cool when I was a kid in the early 80's -albeit it was made 15 years or so too late!

Excellent presentation. An honest and humble collection without prejudice . Not discriminating between Swiss, Japanese or Hong Kong. I appreciate it. Best thing is that you don't need the big boys of Rolex, Omega etc to make you happy and content. Great work

Sketchy guys wear Breitling. That's one of the reasons I love the brand and own a Breitling Super ocean A17367. Also like Breitling still remains independent
I think my favorite out of the 10 is the G-SHOCK. I am hopeless through some heavy hitters in there and I gravitate to the G-SHOCK.
Favourite? 90s Fortis with the 7750 👌🏼
Least favourite? Sorry, the Breitling 😢

Thanks for showing thumbnails of the watch as you're reading your wife's review! In the past I've sometimes had to go back to earlier in the video to remember what it looked like. My wife tells me to buy any watch I like, and sometimes I wish she wasn't quite so supportive, because I've made some purchases I've regretted afterwards. Right now she's encouraging me to get the Seiko Arnie. I suspect I won't regret that one, even though it'll take me some time to get comfortable with the price (and convince myself it'll fit on my twig wrists). Great video as always!

Ahhhh, the 5610 gshock. That watch gets worn the most in my collection, too. I truly believe it's the perfect watch.

My last favorite is the Casio. It’s tough deciding which is my favorite. I wish I could just buy your collection.
This video prompted me to finally pull the trigger and get an SNJ025 Seiko and I love it. Hahaha!
Best of the bunch for me is hands down the Fortis . Least favourite is the Casio TRN50 not that I hate it , purely because i doubt it would get much wrist time.
Gshock 5610u, I nailed some adaptors on mine with a black pvd bracelet and a red bull bar. If ever a watch said ' come near me and you will come second ' this is the boyo.
CW C63 GMT, for circa 1k I doubt that anything comes close , even at 2 -3k. I wear my 39mm white dial a helluva lot. Pity that the watch snobs don't get thier bums into gear and actually try one for a few days, they may well change their minds about CW.

My favourite out of all 10 is the Grannie’s brooch.
That fortis looks amazing and on that strap awesome.

The Doxa Sub300 is my favorite of this package ! I really like the dome saphire crystal on this family !
Love the Fortis. Surprised that it's 38mm. Would get one if they've made smaller watches nowadays
great vid once again my favourite would have to be the fortis, never seen it before and just put a cheeky bid on one now.
Not a clinker in the bunch, but I lean heavily toward the Seiko SPB411, Fortis, M-HKR and Doxa, in that order. And it looks like you go off easy with wife's scrutiny.

Wonderful collection. Love the Vulcain and the Seiko GMT a lot. That G shock 5610 is my daily beater, so absolutely love that one too. Also, there are few watches out there that I dislike more than the Breitling Heritage diver, but I have to say that your variation looks pretty damn good! Love that sunburst brown dial. As far as my favorite and least favorite, I’m with the wife on my favorite from your collection. That Fortis is truly amazing. Least favorite is harder to pick for me, as there isn’t a single watch in your ten that I dislike. Maybe if I had to choose my least favorite, then I’d pick the Casiotron. And you have a BB58? Well, I know they are a bit played out at this point, but that’s another watch that I personally own and love.
That exact Christopher Ward (C63 Sealander GMT in Dragonfly Blue 36 mm) is what I plan to buy this year! I recently got into the brand, and I also got hired by a UK company (I WFH in the Philippines) and that is a perfect watch to commemorate it.
My favorite is your future Omega Speedmaster with the 3861 caliber, always in Hesalite!
I wore the sealander on my Vegas trip and got a ton of comments people love the dragonfly dial

As a diver who dives to over 60m, because of dynamic pressure you need at least 200m. I have popped a 100m dive watch at under 50m.
The Fortis is and will always be a killer watch! Own the "diver" version with indices instead of numerals and unidirectional bezel with the Lemania 5100. Absolut legend.
Least liked by me is the breitling, but is not the bad for that brand. I will love if you could have the audios of “what the wife said”.

Connecting the Bluetooth will enable the watch automatically syncing the time when your phone is near. Works great especially if MB6 doesn't work for you.
The Vulcain is truly gorgeous and unique. Love the Fortis.

I absolutely love the Fortis. Not a fan of that specific Vulcain - I do like a cricket version. Most recently have my eye on a Doxa 300T; probably reinforced since my local family jewelry/watch shop has become a DOXA AD and I have seen the Clive Cussler version in person. I might pull the trigger, especially since they will give me a great discount. ☺

Great collection Russ…you missed a couple of CWCs I reckon; RN Diver 80s reissue and an SBS Diver. I also sport a Hemel Airwing as my flight watch. Seriously though, loving your work showing us some great watches.

Unfortunately I missed the opportunity to have the previous trn50. From then new goldy goldy one, only 1 piece arrived to Hungary too. But I had an opportunity to buy one, and I did! I love it. What's your opinion Russell, is it as good with the blue and gold as the silver one?

I love this. Love that you (like me) buy what you like. Unhindered of course by your wife's opinion. I have no doubt that you ask her opinion only after spending the money. My wife has crushed my appreciation for a watch or two with very similar comments. She once said the Omega SeaMaster looked like a cheap dollar store watch to her. I still have not bought one with that image in my head now.
