Thank you so much who knows what I had clicked on and this app suddenly started popping up every time I would unlock my screen and it was draining battery with so much notifications. Thank God I got it off now. You are wonderful!

This vid goes into more detail than any I have found yet, but on my unlocked, metro branded samsung galaxy a14 the seem to be "hard-wired" into the deepest innards of the phone. I even booted into the low level menu by powering the phone off and holding down the "up volume" button while pressing the power key. No available options for disabling and/or removing "hard-wired" apps.

Oh my god dude thank you so much. I don't know how it happened but whenever I unlock my phone there's metros on with its weird and usually unreliable news items. I am freed from this in God bless you!!!! Took me 2 seconds under the settings suggestion!

I tried what you layed out but when I clicked disable a warning popped up about apps malfunction. I clicked to continue and a second pop up warned of wiping out my storage. I didn't click that one. I still have the start up followed by the persistent Metro page. I have a Samsung Galaxy android if that helps you to solve my dilemma.

I have the same problem with my galaxy a14. In addition, the "advanced" option does not appear. I purchased this as an unlocked phone and I have transferred my existing account with a different carrier and it is now working properly. It is installed with all the metro apps, including the annoying "metrozone by t-mobile" splash screen. I cannot delete any of them and have searched the web extensively for information on how to do this to no avail.

Metrozone isn't listed in the apps at all on my phone (Oneplus Nord N200) . Not even when I select "all" or "show system".... This is nuts 😑

fyi= lately that's not working either. had to call metro pcs and threaten to discontinue my service or turn it off. it's off now. their getting very aggressive with this.

Settings -> Apps & Notifications -> See all Apps -> Select Metro Zone -> Select Disable -> Go back to all apps and disable MetroZone notifications.

IS IT TRUE?? I know it can not be removed, but the 2021 version says DISABLING THE METRO ZONE APP MAY CAUSE OTHER APPS NOT TO FUNCTION CORRECTLY!!
