I felt great for both people. The way it's suppose to be. I was rear ended in my 91 MR2 Turbo a few years back. Chick was clearly not doing well, said she had just left the hospital and she didn't see me. Went into the back of my car at about 35mph, I was at a dead stop. I sat for a few seconds after it happened, gave a silent "cunt" to get it out of my system. I got out, walked back and asked if she was ok. She started sobbing and gave me her list of things that had happened to her in the last week that were terrible. She was a shitty driver, but reality is, just was having a bad time. It sucked, but I gave her a hug and waited for her husband to show up so he could drive her home. He was super chill and thanked me for not calling the cops. I think she was on some serious pain meds and was a little loopy. Dangerous as fuck and could have really hurt me, but I was fine. Lesson I learned, you get way more out of situations by being a decent human than going ape shit.
