You're effectively just errataing its text to "During your Main Phase (Quick Effect)". So you can still use it to respond to something if you want, just only in your MP
we dont know for sure if thats actually the case because that kind of effect always says "during your main phase" in japanese, and this specific interaction has never come up before. They could very well rule it as overriding.

For example Babel requires you are already playing the game, same with Salad or the Blue Eyes one. When we have fieldspells that add a card which full combos, give stat boosts then also become an interruption, we got a problem.

@@Pashtrik-j5e true but rock loses to azamina which also has incredible synergy with orcust and the deck dealt with ash and crow back when it was the best deck, shifter is a separate issue since nearly every deck loses to that, it won't be easy but I feel confident that orcust can find it's place in the meta now especially with the effect fuwalos is having on the meta

Orcust didn't need that Link 1, but it helps out if you open an Orcust name and no other cards like Armageddon Knight & whatnot. New Link 4 is a lot better than the previous one for sure. Now I'm just wondering if they're going to continue the World Legacy Lore with this new Orcust support
Sure, it's powerful but it's really cool anyways. Not just because of it being Orcust, but because even if there are 5 points of interaction, most of it is just removal, not a multiple negate board. I wouldn't mind if this becomes a Tier 1 deck

A strong combo if you open Girsu exactly and no Orcust card you want to have in your deck. That said only Girsu and Harp Horror are 1 card combos and Girsu in particular is a hand trap magnet I don't see Orcust play through all that easily compared to a deck like Ryzeal

It technically supports all the World Legacy archetypes. World Chalice in particular has a much higher ceiling with these cards as they can access the Orcust engine without either a DARK lock or running maindeck bricks.
Farfa is glazzing these cards a bit too much by calling them tier 1, orcust is definitely outdated compared to the current meta and needs more than 2 cards to make up for that.
The combo example was just staying in-archetype. Using other stuff can get you even more board. I'm shocked nobody has used Lib yet. Lib can get you anywhere from an extender to another omni negate now that it's hilariously easy to co-link. And then there's the Borreload line which should net you at least 3 negates.

There's also a build that could run Borrelend with the easily slottable Rokket Caliber that was originally kinda gimmicky due to how difficult it can be to get a link arrow before the first wave of interaction but the link 1 makes it so much easier.
