This is fine design as long as the field spell rewards you for already playing the game (salad, blue eyes, orcust) and would be terrible otherwise, unlike Perlereino which is a starter (full 1 card combo with kit) + disruption
I personally like running Pure with Armageddon Knight and Foolish Burial Goods. FBG is particularly nice because it’s not only a starter, but is also a great extender since through Crescendo you can search for either an Orcust to pitch with the Link 1, or a card like Gizmek Orochi or World Crown.
worth noting you can banish and add back the spells and traps as well with both monsters. this also means that with Foolish Goods you can effectively do the same generic combo in this video but also search Crecendo that way with the link 4 add back which lets u set return with Galatea to draw 2 once you take their world legacy token back. Essentially giving up the IP for a draw 2

I'm not sure about running it with Diabellestar/Azamina/Horus, but I know for sure that that 1.5 combo you started with is gonna be quinessential. So many interruptions there
The Horus engine is terrible with the deck post support due to other issues such as hand space or discards and the azamina engine being just so much better for protection and recursion. You have enough starters with skeleton even being an ok starter. The world legacy crown also is incredible in this deck
6:49 Kinda shows why running both engines is not the worst. Your opponent has to deal with more layers of interactions, and Orcust and Horus are both great grind game engines
You underestimate them, - Horus engine is still a solid way to catch opponent's handtraps before the main Orcust plays while the rank 8 toolbox can do wonders for them - such as - Vamp, galaxy lord, coach king ... etc. Not mentioning the solid next turn recovery boost due to the returning horus bodies.

This list looks really clean! I was trying to find a way to play 3 knightmare, but didn't think about diabellstar. The azamina cards work so well here! I'd probably only cut a galetea for Photon Lord.

So since you are now protected from Nibiru you can just set impulse, which does not apply the restriction. Going second you just use the Horus cards for something else. The only time it could matter is by opening girsu impulse and Horus, here Photon Lord is your 6th summon (girsu, 2 tokens, 2 Horus). If you get nibbed here you can just impulse and use the Horus for something else.
I am laughing as a former Mekknight player that the deck remains forever incomplete meanwhile Orcust gets new cards which fixes the entire deck. At this point just unban Mermaid and make this deck rogue/meta
The new support looks soooo good. I can see Orcust been a great deck after the support. Th problem will be Furawoss bcu< we use our ED a lot but at least it has some lines to keep the draws at minimun. Great video!
They're so afraid of making Knightmares a viable archetype they'd rather give every Archetype that wants one their own Link-1 and/or extra Normal Summon.
Always has been, though more "standard" Ishizu Tear builds overshadowed it for the longest time. Orcust(and in most cases Striker Orcust, those new Dark Machines are neat to play in it and Crescendo can even add H.A.M.P.) is the only way I can stomach playing Tear cards in all honesty.
