    I like the paddle shifting capabilities. I often drive with it on to help with EV battery recharging.

    So basically what do I do do I use a minus or the + what makes it save more battery

      The right hand side (-) reduces regen strength
      The left hand side (+) increases regen strength, "save more battery" in your words.

      @@bigboldbicyclewhat’s regen strength?-

    • @robneff7084
      @robneff7084 2 місяці тому

      @@trucolour3662 More regen strength means it actively slows down the car (when your foot is off the gas pedal), and that energy is put back into the battery. level 0 strength is normal coasting, level 4 strength means you definitely feel it slowing the car whenever you take your foot off the gas.
      If you're in city driving where you need to speed up and slow down aggressively, more regen strength is good, but in suburban/rural area this might feel unnatural and lower regen is enough (takes more time to slow down).
      Of course, when you step on the brake, that will also slow the car down, and usually with regenerating the energy as well (except in emergency stop, or if the battery is already full).

    I can't get the i-pedal mode to come on anymore regardless of how many times I pull on the left paddle. It used to come on but won't do it now after I changed the regen rate to auto. How do I get out of auto rate?

      @@KiaWorldwideOfficial I guess you are just a social media firm posting on behalf of hundreds of clients rather than actually know anything about the products. Anyway, I found the solution. Just needed to deactivate "auto" regen mode by pulling the minus paddle till it goes to 0.

    I see that there looks like there are three pedals or is the leftmost a footrest? If it is a pedal what is it used for?

    Can the Niro EV be set to default to ZERO regeneration in ECO mode?

    • @sswildlifevideos
      @sswildlifevideos Місяць тому

      Yes - you have to go into the drive mode menus and you can customize the default regen setting.

    I just got a new Niro today. After 2 to 3 hours of reading about them, I don't think even they know how to work these things. Trial and error is probably going to be the only way.
