Hey brother I would use and aluminum welding rod to fix that crank case damage, I wouldn't go to a TIG torch considering that it's only a crack and an aluminum welding rod would work perfect to seal it up, what have you done with the bike so far in terms of that damage?
That is a sad case, your brave for taking this on. These bikes were made as disposable crap by the factory.. to drop the Moto, both frames have to be unbolted as well as the swingarm ugh!
Watched 5 minutes, gee I hope you just sold it. Solder the alloy crankcase, are you serious , seat key in seat cowl fastener etc. I cringed watching this.
