This is seriously one of the best Unsu tutorials out there. This has really helped me practice and sharpen my technique. Thank you sensei.
it's not traditional, it's not a budo kata, his explanation of technics is very far from the bushido karate

Kata Unsu hidden power
One of the most advanced times in showstyle and according to many sites and majority opinions is the most difficult time of the show

Pense que era clase de baile, a si es cierto que las competiciones de kata son para verse bonitos y coreograficos.
Il kata di valdesi non è un vero karate,ma sport, che con un arte marziale non c entra nulla. Non vedo zanshin, kime,e non finisce le tecniche. Sembra solo un robot.

the only fault in the technique is the wrong attitude to the support leg when kicking. its wrong to turn the foot outwards when we kick mae geri
You are right chris, but in my humble experience I saw the great majority of Kata athletes doing like this, including relevant names such as Valdesi and others.
That's how we do it kung fu, I'm not sure why the Okinawans changed it after they picked up tiger, crane and dragon from China.
Because he is not karateca is a sport atlethe man who likes dancing, and hes not uses thisbm tecnics at all, he dont know how do a corect tecnic for apply a kick, this moderns kata karate dancers only looks for goodlookin, he is not a martial artist.

Very good viideo. but why in the kata the firsts nukite he snap his tighs, I dont understan, The kata sport bit like this?. I guess that the noise must be from the power of fist, no of the snap on the body...
You're correct. You're not supposted to hit the gi with the ippon nukite strike. Gi slapping is usually not allowed even in sports karate. I don't know the WKF rules though.

Why modern kata looks like a dance coreography why modern karatecas not stand kata is a group of tecnics and you can apply and use, why this dancers karatecas call this karate?
I stopped watching after a few seconds, the first movement is wrong. Very strange to see people modifying the katas like that.

You just have to practice more, jump a lot, make your legs stronger and you will make it.
