- I have improved the audio quality of video record.
This is the studio version of marooned, there are many errors, but I think that this version is very hard to play.
Setup: G&L S-500, digitech whammy, custom made distortion, tube factor, boss dd-20, hiwatt custom 50, shure sm57, cubase.
fantastic tone sir, i have a question though, has your persistent use of the whammy raised your bridge off the body at all, that can happy with some strats? also, i loved it, maybe a little more accentuation of the notes, but other than that, great job. also, how much did the digitech cost?
@rahk0505 lol music is an art not a sport, its not a competition, this cover is brilliant, it doesnt have to be 100% the same as the original, thats why its a cover.

Girmore is a very expressive and hauntingly lovely soloist.
Although not up to his mark, and I forgive you for that as you do not possess his soul to be able to reproduce his playing exactly, and you will no doubt argue that you wouldnt want to, it is still very listenable. I can almost hear your soul coming through in your playing but you seem to be supressing it somewhat . Let it fly Baby.
Dont pick all notes, try to use more more legato, kind of takes away from feeling of the note. Nice playing though, try to use more legato its more gilmour's style. However; could you commend on what effects you used on get this tone? Interested in hearing your setup.
This is KICKASS!!!! The only person on this planet that plays like Dave Gilmour, is Dave Gilmour. The only person on this planet that plays like this guy, is in the damn video. This guy is playing one of Dave Gilmour's songs with his own hands, not Dave Gilmour's. Excellent cover man, I enjoyed it.
Well, I don't know. I'm saying what if? I'm sure there are better, or AS GOOD players as Gilmour.
Even if there are better players, I still prefer Gilmour, so don't get me wrong. Even if he sucked (which he doesn't) he puts a lot of emotion into his music which you don't find in most other music.

I personally think Gilmour is the best guitarist in the world, along with some others, but there are some other people who think that there are better ones than Gilmour, so I just want to make my comment neutral.

It's hard not to make mistakes, that's 5 min solo you're playing, I don't think even Gilmour could repeat that in exact way. This is awesome.

Very very nice man, I hate when people start commenting on pink floyd covers saying what Gilmour would have doine, they are not Gilmour and either are you, but that does not stop this from being an AMAZING cover.
