Girl, that is so cute. I remember doing these. So much fun. You could a squiggle rug. Those are fun too. You could have a blast blending the colors. Alison Russell has a very good tutorial of that technique. The pattern makes a rug, or blanket, that is ver plush. Hugs from Florida ☀️🌈
Ooh bookmarks are a cool idea! I could never sell any of my yarn crafts cause I have too many cats. 😂 This thing is full of little tied in cat hairs. 😂🙈
I used to make friendship bracelets when I was young, you have genuinely just inspired me to go and make one of these for my BF for Xmas. (She has some alopecia), and this will help her feel really comfortable and look stunning!
Friendship bracelets brought me back. The headband is real cute. Again I am amazed that your cats can be that close to yarn and not roll around in your project.
They’re pretty good about it for the most part! I’m surprised too. Jasper is a jerk sometimes, though. 😂 And yesss these babies take me way back, too. 😭 The nostalgia! ❤️
When I made macrame wall hangings, I used long strands of jute. I made little bundles with my hand, and tied them with rubber bands. Looks like a way you can use to not make a snarl or knot.
I think you are my spirit animal, haha! I love that you're so quirky, weird, silly, etc., despite the internal struggles. You're the best, thanks for sharing.
That’s smart! I was going to roll them up and tie them with rubber bands but I decided against it cause they were relatively manageable after a few rounds but that really does sound so much easier! 😂 I wanted to make a purse strap but was intimidated by the amount of yarn I’d need…that idea makes it seem doable!! ❤️❤️❤️
Ok this is ADORABLE!! It looks so good! Also you are so brave for finishing that on the table where your pet's bowls are... I wouldve absolutely knocked that shit off with my elbow 😂
Such a crafty girl. I’m sad I never had the friends bracelet experience. We had some sort of bead pin thing. Actually I think only myself and one other girl did that, so not an actual thing😢. I really like the headband and think it could look cool stitched together as a pillow cover. Anyway good job 👍.
Aww, Anna! I’m sorry you didn’t have that experience as a kid. 🫂 It’s never too late for friendship bracelets! 🥰 I still love making them, and doing it with yarn like this makes it a lot easier to learn/see. Totally would be a cute pillow, you’re right! ❤️🌈🧶
this is so incredibly genius. i was thinking about making a belt using friendship bracelet thread but thatd take FOREVER but yarn!!! i dont know how i didnt think of that so simple but so brilliant 10/10 and your headband turned out so CUTE!!! also would like to add i was looking for something to watch while working on a friendship bracelet. how perfect.
Serendipity!! 🥰 Thank you! You haveeee to make a belt! That would be so so cute. And please show me when you’re done, if you have Instagram! I’d love to see it. ❤️
I knoooow! I was at Joann’s the other day and saw super thick chunky yarn and told my bf I need to get it for the rug of my dreamssss! ✨ Thank you for watching!! ❤️
This is so cool, I have loads of yarn that needs using so I'm definitely going to give this a go. I'm wondering if kumihimo bobbins might help with keeping the long loose ends from getting tangled?
Lol i feel so silly. This made me want to make friendship bracelets but i dont have the embroidery thread and then u showed your headband and i was like wait why cant i just use my yarn like shes literally doing LOL. So cute!
If there is anyone out there in metric land - 218 inches = 553.72 centimetres. Just over 5 and a half metres!!! You’re right lady, that’s SUPER long :)
Oooh using a sewing machine is a really good idea!! You gotta make a belt! And send me a pic on Instagram or something! I was thinking about making one too, would be so cute tied around a long flowy dress.
You could totally turn a long one into a belt, That would be so cute! Love your work! ❤
Yesss I want to make one!! 🥰🥰

You’re so fun to watch, Liz. The headband idea is awesome! Can’t wait for the rug idea to come to fruition 😂 Have a great day!
Haha ahh, me either!!! It would be so cute. Thank you so much for always watching! 🥰❤️
you should make bookmarks like that, i made one with embroidery thread and it took forever but it would be so cool with yarn
Ooh bookmarks are a cool idea! I could never sell any of my yarn crafts cause I have too many cats. 😂 This thing is full of little tied in cat hairs. 😂🙈
I am 62 years old be 63 in a few months. This is the first time ever seeing somebody make these. Its so cool 😎 thanks

THANKS! It would looks amazing on you if you’ve got some yarn scraps!
I think you are my spirit animal, haha! I love that you're so quirky, weird, silly, etc., despite the internal struggles.
You're the best, thanks for sharing.
Hahaha, YOU are the best! Ya gotta be a little silly and weird go get through the bs. Thank you for your kindness! ❤️ Hope you have a great week!
I don't even wear headbands but now I totally want to do it 😅Love this idea! 💜
I don’t either. 😂😂😂 But I’m gonna start! You should totally make one. ❤️
This is so cute Liz!!!! I loooove❤❤❤
Thank you so much, friend!! 🥰❤️
Omg that lil sample could be a cool earrings!! Make a sterling silver topper ❤❤❤❤
That headband turned out so well! This is exactly why I love making malas. Really enjoy the knot process. 😊
Ooh good call! That would be cute! ❤️
Really cute and your hair looks nice when it’s up!!
You are kind, I’ve always hated it up! Thank you so much. 💛
This is such a fabulous Idea. I love how you use materials in out of the box ways!!
Thank you!! The spice of life! Appreciate you watching. 🥰
Oh I love that!
Thank you!! It’s so fun! 🥰❤️🌈
This looks so fun! Can’t wait to make it!
You definitely gotta do it! 🥰
If you wind the long strands onto bobbins it might be easier to manage. You can make small bobbins out of cardboard.

Thank you so much!! Hahaha I have 4 cats and I am always dodging them and all their crap. 😂❤️
Hooking your bracelet on your toe is a classic 😂 takes me back. This is so cool! I love how the light blue pops among the other colors
Hahaha I knooow, I felt like I was 10 again sitting on the sidewalk in the summertime. 😂 The nostalgia!! 🥰❤️

I love it!!! If you had the patience, you could turn a really long one into a guitar strap!
That would be so cute!! My bf and I were literally just talking like 5 mins ago about making a huge one and making a rug! 😅😅
I still love friendship bracelets at my big age of 37 so I'm obsessed with this idea! You're so creative🧡🧡🧡🧡
They’re the most fun! Thank youuu. 🥰 Appreciate you! ❤️
I want to try this for a guitar strap!
You should! That would be really cute.
Super duper cute, Liz! Loved watching!
Thanks Sunny! 🥰

I knoooow! I was at Joann’s the other day and saw super thick chunky yarn and told my bf I need to get it for the rug of my dreamssss! ✨ Thank you for watching!! ❤️

Ooh yeah, probably! That’s a good idea! It is annoying working with yarn that long. 😂
Lol i feel so silly. This made me want to make friendship bracelets but i dont have the embroidery thread and then u showed your headband and i was like wait why cant i just use my yarn like shes literally doing LOL. So cute!
Hahaha yesss! You could totally make a bracelet with yarn too! It’s super fun, I hope you make one! 🥰💖

Metric land:
14 inches = 35.56 centimetres
I love these bracelets but I get so bored making them so it takes me a week or 2 to complete one lol.. bead work is way faster
be cool for a purse strap
Totally! I thought the same thing. I want to do it! 👜
With extra yarn, you can make hats for homeless people or charity, or hospital.
You could do the strips and use a sewing machine to zig zag them together.....I wanna make a hippie belt like so 70s I love it
Oooh using a sewing machine is a really good idea!! You gotta make a belt! And send me a pic on Instagram or something! I was thinking about making one too, would be so cute tied around a long flowy dress.
