Hiram Bullock at Battery Park, N.Y.C. Video Produced by Larry Blumenstein Video Productions. Contact : LarryBlumenstein@aol.com, 917-817-2112. (Copyright 2001) (c).
Hiram is a sensational musician and a great personality. I did a tour with his Bush Rock, around 1986, with Delmar Brown on kbrds and a drummer whose name I forgot, we would hit small clubs and people loved it crazily.
I just learnt he passed away five years ago and I feel miserable about it. A great loss for real guitar connosseurs. R.I.P. and make the angels keep the beat, dude.
long live HB! never forgotten. window shoppin' - and the whole first album - was such a sucker punch in the solar plexus and has remained a crank-it-up fave ever since
Still Great.. after 7 months. Hope no-one else finds Will & Hiram on this link. Kinda wanna keep it to ourselves, it's so good. And where's the rest of this show ? HIIIRAAAM ! C'mon Lawrence..
I loved hear him (and Will) play. The first time I heard them was at Secret Sound when they, Steve Jordan and Cliff Carter were making a 24th Street Band album. Paul Schaffer co-produced. It was magic! I was lucky enough to be one of the engineers.
That is Mr. Will Lee. He's the truth and listen to Tetsuro Yamashita, who was very popular in the 80's in Japan. Will was a session bassist and man!, I was beyond a fan of his. I been following him since 99. Quick Side note, I had the honor of seeing Mr. Bullock play at the World Famous Tokyo Blue Note in 98 with Marcus Miller's Band . I was on cloud 9 that night. May Hiram Rest in Power.
OMG!!!! What an awesome video. THANK YOU!!!!! I kind of like the dark video cast kind of ads to Hiram's unique ness from beyond...) RIP Hirum you and Jaco are my inspiration!!
hastobequick is shouting to Larry Blumenstein, producer of this video to post more of the Battery Park gig. Anything by Hiram is acceptable ! Mioffer/hastobequick. X.
Than in the '90s we met again for a USO tour taking his shows in some overseas army bases, and Hiram would play "The human juke-box" every night - everithing from White X-mas to tv serials themes on request . Big fun assured We roadies regularly had to take the power off to call curfew and wrap and strike. He's just great.
True Kieran, but what style in the open air, at sunset. At 4.OO ..take off ..! Enjoy this in de parc and find Hiram. in Studio & on promo too... But I really feel myself there, with glistening jazz accompaniment, and
I could watch this a million times. Will and Hiram together....magic.
3 dudes got more greatness on stage than a 100 piece orchestra. I am watched 50 times and counting. RIP

Hvilken kreativ guitarist den mand var, så storslået. Vi er meget tæt på Jimi. Niels Denmark
