If the encrypted backup is a bunch of numbers whats to stop someone who has my SD card from brute forcing it I just have to count upwards until I get it even if it is 20 numbers...
Why not stick with words?
That also applies to the pin of the device, whats to stop the brute forcing of that?

This is a very good video! Could you please clarify the following two questions regarding SD card updating? If newly stacked sats are transferred to or new UTXO's are created via purchases with Passport and these funds are associated with an existing account on the Passport, does the SD card need to be updated? If the SD card is updated for any reason, will the user need to write down a new numeric code? Thank you.

How many microSD cards backups we can make?
As many as you'd like.
I have an offline computer, for a test I tried to recover the backup on it. Doesn't work as it requests a password not a backup code.
Did you try entering the code with a dash every four numbers?

Imagine losing your microSD, calling your parents just to find out they've thrown it away, and your friend's accidentally formatted it to use for their baby videos.
... I mean, it's unlikely, but it sounds pretty probable. lol :P
That's why you should store your seed words somewhere separately too!
