People. Normal Catholics are scared and we don’t know how to talk about it because we fear conflict and we have guilt and shame for our judgemental thoughts against this culture which we find on social media. We need many more presentations at Church amongst lay persons on how to talk, how to react, how to stay connected to one another, how to support our local church as well as our Pope. No one is leading this. All our communities are abandoned to figure this out on our own. Finding our great speakers on social media is not enough. They have to come out to us. It’s not about likes but about hand shakes. How many hand shakes you get vs how many likes. Get off utube and into my parish. Chris I saw you in person. In Red Deer Alberta and I was shocked you came but I was so grateful. We need to bring up more lay persons to go about the country now more than ever. Thank you for what you do.

Satan loves blaming and accusing in the church and among men in general. I’ve been focusing on giving my best to people and witnessing and praying for the best in them. Likewise for the church.

Here’s a simple way to look at it: Anytime a snake questions your identity (i.e. past, present, and future) in order to transform it into something else you could not understand, and then controls you as a result, you are dealing with pure evil. Tends to happen in already established gardens.
I used to follow many channels that frd on this hatred. They added logs to the fire. I felt it was wrong. Something told me trust the Holy Spirit. So I unfollowed and gained my peace back. Now following what brings peace, feed my faith with love, not division.

How is the hierarchy silent? How has a teaching apparently changed, capital punishment, if teachings are unchangeable. This matters. We’re the people who following Arianism saved? If they just said go with it and don’t worry if it right or wrong. I’m not being deceptions. That’s a serious question. What is going on now from what I have seen has NEVER occurred in church history. So my fallback position is to rely on the past traditions and teachings. However some postulate or outright say that is wrong. So I am in a state of confusion. Isolating myself from what is occurring will not make it go away. And to say it doesn’t matter makes no sense. Yes! Thinking the exact same thing lately. So much in-fighting amongst catholics, especially the men. A lot of egos flying around and not much charity, it's unsettling and sad as it looks to many outsiders as total hypocrisy and no humility. I just dicovered Chris last week and now working my way through his videos. I feel at home here. Chris and his wife have beautiful souls, they are well-balanced, humble and bring hope and joy to people with shattered perceptions of themselves. My problem with the Church is that it has had these problems, but has not practiced what it preaches. It's time for the Church to ask forgiveness from its congregation, but I don't see that happening. I don't receive forgiveness without confession and atonement. Where has the Church done the steps necessary for forgiveness?
I have really been enjoying your shows , but honestly, this one has me a little concerned... I pray constantly for God's will for me, and for the church . And just going with the flow and not defending the true faith in itself I feel is demonic. I agree. And I also feel that desire for justice within me. I couldn’t shake if I tried. But different people have different tolerances. I do believe this is a St Catherine of Siena moment we are in. While I respect the videos premise, I respectfully disagree with it. And while I devour Fr Rippergers output, I also disagree that we need to be theologians to have views. What we do need is less ambiguous teaching and output from the hierarchy. Word salads that say anything and nothing. ‘I will accompany you while we dialogue on our preferred path’. Ridiculous. Pews are emptying. Souls are at stake. Clarity is needed and consistency. Teachings that are clear cut and observed universally. Will the Pope ever publicly rebuke the German and Belgian bishops?

The Church has always had problems. Nothing new. However Church leaders have a really hard time enforcing Priests to hold reverent masses, not teaching heresy. They may get told to not do something but the Priest keeps doing it. Like Fr. Martin or the Bishops in Germany blessing same sex marriages. Like where’s the correction here?

I feel that this is one of the core issues causing a lot of problems with the laity in conjuction with confusion or silence within the clergy. Lot of youtube channels out there spewing division, suspicion, and accusations. Nothing wrong with healthy debate, however, it has gone too far. Get back to the basics and pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Biggest threat to the Church atm is SSPX in my opinion. They are effectively doing the same with what Martin Luther did, by creating their own denomination. It's gonna get to a point where this is my Church and not His Church. You should only attend SSPX once it's in commune with Rome.

Fr Ripperger mentioned sedevacantism. With good reason. The allure of consistency in teaching is what it offers. I am not a sedevacantist but I am sympathetic to them because I see how the confusion wrought with convoluted language that is so ambiguous you can make it mean anything at any time is prevalent in the church currently. The real problem is that Bergoglio and many of the bishops have abandoned Catholic principles.

The errors of Modernism have been my agony in the garden. Sure there are questionable Trads but will you judge this venerable movement by only the bad ones. You err! When it comes to Francis and God, Francis is an usurper who had a team of Cardinals and Bishops who were campaigning for his election. This is a grave offense against Canon Law which calls for excommunication Late Sententiae. Some try to cover up this grave abuse with excuses. Not even Francis denies it. In a nutshell, an excommunicated man cannot canonically be raised to the Pontificate.

Thanks for this insight! I agree, I have always thought that focusing on the negative in the Church is not something that Christ likes. That's one of the reasons why I stopped watching EWTN's World Over by Raymond Arroyo. I pray for all of us and our beautiful Church.

The Church has always had problems. Nothing new. However Church leaders have a really hard time enforcing Priests to hold reverent masses, not teaching heresy. They may get told to not do something but the Priest keeps doing it. Like Fr. Martin or the Bishops in Germany blessing same sex marriages. Like where’s the correction here?

I feel that this is one of the core issues causing a lot of problems with the laity in conjuction with confusion or silence within the clergy. Lot of youtube channels out there spewing division, suspicion, and accusations. Nothing wrong with healthy debate, however, it has gone too far. Get back to the basics and pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Biggest threat to the Church atm is SSPX in my opinion. They are effectively doing the same with what Martin Luther did, by creating their own denomination. It's gonna get to a point where this is my Church and not His Church. You should only attend SSPX once it's in commune with Rome.

Great channel. But no. Pretending all is well is how this got as bad as it is. German and Belgian bishops openly preaching apostasy, homosexuality within the ranks of the bishops and priests. As I said. I enjoy your vids. Hatred of sin is proper. Be careful not to presume a person can’t maintain love alongside hatred of sin. The main problem right now is the confusion. Fr Ripperger mentioned sedevacantism. With good reason. The allure of consistency in teaching is what it offers. I am not a sedevacantist but I am sympathetic to them because I see how the confusion wrought with convoluted language that is so ambiguous you can make it mean anything at any time is prevalent in the church currently. Clarity in speech. Clarity in writing. Clarity in worship. And consistency with the past teachings. Capital punishment comes to mind. A trivial thing but if even one teaching can be reversed that is a monumental problem logically. No explanation of how the understanding of human dignity has developed. Just that it has and now capital punishment is not permissible, but is also not intrinsically evil. We’re not all theologians. We’re not all geniuses. But when something on the face of it makes no sense then it’s wrong. Did god then do inadmissible acts? Did he not have a full understanding of human dignity which is the basis for the change to the catechism?
