Im actually in the middle of making an update to my mod to remove various bugs and adding better textures and new variants such as the Black Night or even the Ukranian Cope cage.
I am so happy my mod is seeing more attention, even when the development makes me smash my head.

I love videos like this where you go back and cover stuff that you've already previously covered. I like the top 10/15/20 you've seen that month, but once a year, I'd love to see you go back and show which mods are the tier 1 mods deserving to remain in our precious, limited SSD space. I also liked some of your older showcase videos where you went into depth on particular mods. I'd love to see comparison videos for things like sound or units. Not to show how one is better than the other, but to show their strengths. I'm always finding new mods to checkout, thanks to your videos! I really like that you also touch on compositions. They make mission making so much easier and give us cool toys, like that Live Map.
Appreciate the kind words! Some mods fit so many different game styles that they showcased more than once! I've been considering doing a super long form video of my top mods I always run with (its like 50 or so small QoL mods)
one of the very cool features of Drongo's DYEL is the ability to pick up (Shift+C) and move static emplacements and place them on vehicles (Shift+C again) in any position you wish. Pick-up weight can be configured in the settings, making it entirely possible to put a 203mm howitzer on a quad bike
FACTS
One of the mods I've enjoyed the most recently for milsim stuff is the ITN Beta mod. It brings a really fantastic set of functionality to the RHS PEQ-15s.
Second this. Actually useful IR illuminator and the lasers look better aswell because they disperse on the surface they're pointed at.

DYEL Logi and ACE are some of my must have mods for almost all of my modlist
I'm new to Arma....plus I'm old...and have no effing idea what you were talking about with the sponsor....but did at least follow along with the mods .... Appreciate these videos...especially the wings and small teams mods

It’s probably my favorite hit reaction mod ever made, it’s awesome and reliable! Also customizable on how often the reactions happen!

Yo @Viper1Zero nice video. btw, what IR laser do you use for Bettir? The only one I could find so far is from SPS Weapons.
Any IR lasers should work. There are compacts out there for Tier One Weapons, but also vanilla, Arma 3 Aegis ones work.
What uniform mod is that with the 3dma vest mod and what mod let's you sling the weapon

How did you get your FOV to be that good with that scope at 6:10? For me whenever i scope in it obstructs the whole damn screen and I ve seen plenty of your videos that just have this cool clean scope FOV
That was an aim point (red dot) and not an amplified scope.

@Viper1Zero 6:56 - to make this video you needed to use the @TPW mod, which makes the AI run away from the fallen near grenade. When the AI doesn't react to a grenade thrown nearby, it looks very unnatural/silly

hey Viper1Zero, thanks for such great content you put out! Do you know if there is a mod which will center the action menu on the screen, rather than it being in the top left corner? I have seen some Arma 3 videos where people have interaction/actions in the middle of the screen but couldn't figure out which mod they use. Cheers

I believe they do that by going into the game options and changing the UI layout. I’m not aware of any mod that moves the interaction box around (doesn’t mean one doesn’t exist though).
I would try and manipulate the box via your game options.

GGE canting SHO edit is also really good for canting rifles using IR lasers. The normal GGE canting mod just looks odd and over exaggerated. The SHO edit is much closer to what you'd do in real life
I haven’t tried the edit but thank you for the recommendation! The regular canto g mod was broken for me so I’ll try the edit!
@@Viper1Zero sometimes it does require a change in key bind in settings-controls-configure addons. It can be a bit janky, but once you get the hang of it, it can really help with making night engagements more immersive and difficult

They’re part of 3Den Enhanced, and under “Ambient Animations” when you double click on a unit in the editor.

7:25 what mod do you use to hang your primary weapon like that?
It’s a part of 3den Enhanced, when you double click on an asset in the editor it’s under “ambient animations”
Zero idea what ACE is although I keep hearing about it , a vid on introduction to ACE would be good + I notice there’s an ACE3 too , but no ACE2 ?
ACE stands for Advanced Combat Environment. In short, its a massive overhaul and addition of about 15-20 mechanics, including detailed medical, G-Forces, ballistics, and a lot more. It's truly an awesome mod that the community either loves or hates. Ha. It also completely changed interaction with things int he game world, and your own character, by holding the Windows key or Alt + L Win to bring up the world interaction menu. Its an awesome mod.

It will work for ANY gaming group. Any unit. It was just built with Arma 3 in mind, but 99% of it applies to other games!

I got a rare echivment that named mod lover becuase i started playing arma with 10 mods loaded it is very rare you can see it on the bottom of achivments i think

Didn’t have them in a load order. They all worked for me, no issues. You may have some conflicting mods. DYEL and ACE may not work well together

PIR is good but it bugs out a lot, especially with ACE. At least that’s been my experience and why I prefer Dead and Hit myself.

god man i really hate the infantry movement in this game. its just feels so wrong. i wish somebody would make a mod to change it and take some fundamentals from old arma 2 to make some adjustments.
i swear if the infantry movement got some love in this game and really grounded it down again like it was in arma 2 this game would have a renaissance because i truly believe it is one of the worst things about the game and makes it so unenjoyable

@@arrowhead8298Everyone hyped these tanks to be the end all of Russia and the War, Russia quickly showed that it's capable of doing so and for the uneducated (you) it's been times where a Leopard tank lollipop. It's clear that Russia knows where to aim and due to blast doors chain reactions can't happen inside of the tank.
When Russian tanks are hit, they're hit in the ammo storage which is why the turret comes off. No where has Russia claimed any of their tanks better. It's the West who over-hypes everything.
