Yep, and he doesn't even put chapters into the video so we can skip to the points. Looking at getting a 460 myself so I just want to see some common issues. From what I've come across it's mainly issues with the factory air suspension if it came equipped, and loose front end parts which can add up very quickly.
@@rotrxentertainment5817 it depends on the year. 2007-2010 got a lot of issues. I had 2009 so many problems finally transmission gave out around 153K. Do I miss the V8 , no way. The V8 might be smoother , and that’s pretty much what you gonna miss about it.
I feel you on the those problems. I did make the cut off for the ZLZ recall for the interior. Lexus changed out the dash, glovebox, console box, all 4 door panels and the backseat armrest. As far as the head unit…. Look up V GROM. You can specifically order it for your LS. Last time I checked it’s between 6 to 700, but you can have the unit installed behind the original head unit and I think it’s a major upgrade without upgrading your car. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and all that. Planning on getting it for my LS this summer.
Run seafoam through the brake-powerbooster to clean the valves and pistons, run a few tanks of treated seafoam/gum out gasoline, and then put some gumout/seafoam(per the directions, shoot for the middle mileage parameters) through your crankcase aka the oil, then change it. If you're burning oil because of stuck low-compression rings, which I'd 99% a major reason, it will more than likely help if not correct that aspect of the oil burning. It may have some slight damage to the cylinder walls, but it obviously runs great so I'm going to guess that the majority of the issue is in fact those stuck rings. Try it and lmk please!
My best car ever owned, I am a owner of Lexus ls460 2007 with almost 875000 km on dashboard. They also sell a coating to put on the sticky panels of the car to make them not sticky anymore, it’s call sticky dash fix and is around 50$ for the kit
I'm a little disturbed how thrashed your interior looks like since the material is pretty high quality as far as faux leather goes - how many miles are on this car, is it over 100K? 200K? I thought it said 172,000 on your odometer @1:09 but I can't tell - but if so I guess I have my answer! Same goes for the oil consumption issue. Burning a quart in 500 miles is not unusual for a high mileage engine but I think at least I'd try an additive to free up those sticky piston rings. Since the V8 has the "low tension" piston rings that Lexus specified just for the sake of gas mileage, I'm thinking the least little bit of sticking in the rings is going to cause oil consumption, so I think I'd buy several bottles of Red line or Techron and run that through the engine over time and see what happens. Nice of you to show the Accura alongside your LS, I think most of us at least test drove the obvious competition (Infiniti and Accura) before we wound up buying an LS. I think I test drove a Q50 or something and an Accura that I can't even remember the model. But I felt I had to at least try the competition first.. Also I had my heart set on an ES350, spent months looking for a good used model and test drove half a dozen, but all of them seemed to be missing something. But when I decided to test drive an LS the puzzle was solved - it looked, felt, and drove like the high-end car a Lexus ought to look and feel like. .

I rather have a LS over the TL tbh
i don't know if this video is a day in a life or things I hate about my car
Seats are fine in mine . Looks like you for one who abused their car and didn't take care of it..especially the oil burning issue..
Control arms are the only pain in the a$$, and that sticky interior.. but lexus replaced it for free.. if you had that issue..
Chrisfix has the solution on the foggy headlight.
Maybe if you didn't buy a clapped out one, you'd have fewer complaints...
An LS shouldn't sound like that
What year & how many miles?
Try ls600hl. Could be better
Used car life have to be dedicated also this was once a 58-70k car.
Where did you take those pics with the ships at?
Philly ship yard
Use all your Amazon oil and the very good and the snow to burn oil
Bruh just buy a 3m headlight cleaning kit...and as for the Bluetooth do your research there is so much u can do besides a new head unit. You need to hate that ripped up passenger seat..smh and how terrible your bouncy ride is by slamming it
1 seat quality
2 sticky doors

4 front end
5 can’t play music without aux

1:14 You really should wear your seat belt.
7:30 it look like a camry lahha
I don’t see many LS’s in California roads anymore, like almost none every time I go out driving. However i see lots of S Classes, that really tells you the S Classes is just much better in all aspects.
Aside from reliability of course
Burning oil issue is because of the no resonator you have as you have downpipe and x pipe straight
Not true it’s due to shoddy repair work from the dealer regarding a valve spring recall.
Too cool for a seat belt
Clickbait ish
Yes……. Very much so😂😂
@@Sam_Dunn If you want to add bluetooth, there's a plug and play module for around $75. I just installed it on my LS460 two days ago and it's amazing. You get to keep the steering wheel controls as well unlike with the AUX. Lmk if you want the link. Installation was around 20 minutes and that was because I didn't want to scratch anything nor damage my interior as most of the stuff was changed by the ZLZ recall (I want to keep it fresh and clean).
How dare you
Sell it and buy bmw 7 the endless money pit😮😅😂
Hahah no thanks!!
I have the same problem lol
5w30
