It’s round of 32, it’s a stage of just get out before showing hands. Like poker. Until round of 16, everyone tries to be conservative. If you watch past 3 seasons, Maru’s ro32 games are different from his RO 8 and on. Usually nothing is going on in ro32 except for some real upset. It’s a slow steady marathon
@@Adresant I found the first game a really good push from dear and also the amount of economy idk how did dark lose all these drones but both parts played really well to my thinking indeed match 1 dark vs trust was pretty biased you could say buy here dark stayed a bit inactive on the map.
If you're talking about balance in highest levels we're somewhat in a rock-paper-scissors race relationship right now. Discrepancies may differ per race vs race, but Toss outright demolishes Terran, Zerg will give Toss a lot of trouble and more or less TvZ is somewhat "balanced".

With superior worker count, a far more spread out base and a bank (while Dear was drying out on minerals and already had lost many workers) he was in a favorable position to win a base race. Dodging the army of Dear was a good thing because Dear's army was very scary and could've won him the game in a direct fight.

He lost all the lurkers for free and had a couple things gone differently, such as having a probe out on the map, things could have gotten rather scary. Dear's army wasn't exactly terrible, even up til the end. Since Dark was dominating the entire game, it would have been a terrible way to lose.
He's listening in korean, talking in english, and translating simultaneously. Apply if you believe you can do better. He didn't even do bad. Half of his uhhs are waiting for enough information to form a proper sentence or have correct English grammar so he doesn't sound stereotypical "Asian starting to learn broken English". Their sentence structures is often 'backwards'(making him wait), and the grammar is dissimilar to English(added time to process where words go).
