@@kerronhughes I wouldn't be surprised if their hi-vis jackets weren't already searingly bright in person. Cameras never seem to pick up those colours properly. And part of me does find it exciting to see them next to the track with cars barely lifting as they pass!

they got that fixed in 3 minutes 15 seconds. The car even drove threw the full course yellow it caused. I still cant believe they managed to do that. New Crash box front and rear, new bodywork, new windscreen and corner packages. Absolutely crazy.
Lamborghini and mercedes dont have the GTE (Le Mans Spec Cars) cars, I think you're referring to the GT3 cars that they both have, but GT3 cars are not allowed in WEC and are too slow compared to GTE
Both of the races are fucking brilliant, but calling it better than the N24 is stretch. They are completely different. Le Mans is a proper track, somewhat modern track, the Nords is tight AF. Le Mans starts with ~70 cars, the N24 with ~170. You see where I'm going? Both are brilliant, and awesome races, but calling one better than the other is fucking dillusional

Would it be crazy to suggest the safety crew be armed with flares? Was very nervous for them and the driver there in the dark.
Or a search light on the helicopter that could illuminate the area they are working.

They can't force them to enter. They have to want to enter and develop WEC-specific cars, which costs a lot of money.
