When I moved from CA to AK, I flew there without my dog. A few months later once I was settled in a house, my parents drove my dog up for me.
Work part time at a pet store/dog rescue/veterinary hospital. Rewarding and pays!

I'm from LA born & raised & I'm honestly tired of people from other states moving to LA it takes me 1hr & 30 min to go 8miles in the morning for work. You'll see. Traffic is horrible rent is getting high it's so unfair uncomfortable for the people who are from here parking is too hard to find. It's just too much. I love LA this is home for me. But if more people consider move out here please 2nd guess your decision. Its affecting the people from here.
LA does suck to live in but if you live in the outskirts it's not that bad. Theres always that one state with that one busy city.

D V I’m just ready to try something new as we all probably are… The cost of living here is out of control, and we are overrun with undocumented people. With the traffic it takes about an hour to go 5 miles depending on what direction you’re going in. Businesses are closing up shop and moving to Arizona because payroll taxes and minimum wage hikes are putting them out of business. A change is definitely needed.

Regarding moving with pets. I moved cross country twice and had to drive the distance with my 4 cats. You could look into pet services that will fly them to you, but its probably expensive. Good luck on your new adventure!

Usually the pets that landlords care about are the ones that can cause damage to the property. For example: cat piss can be a very hard smell to get rid of. I would ask specifically if your caged lizards & such are okay. Ferrets would probably not fly. Just an idea in case u hadn't thought to try that.
Ferrets are illegal in the entire state of CA. For the safety of your ferrets I would not bring them.

I just moved from CT to San Diego! I got my dog registered as emotional support and he got to sit on my lap on the plane. I’m renting a room in Oceanside that allows dogs so I lucked out.

Go home save money and do it right. I was born and raised in CA and moved across the country to try something new. I was unprepared and it was a disaster. Too many people set themselves up for failure by being “spontaneous”. Give yourself an actual chance. Unfortunately girls like you are a dime a dozen out there. Go home, save your money and find jobs before you ever get to CA. Film more videos and get your following up ..then do this. Everything is exciting when it’s new. Don’t be naive.
Everyone is different. Many people succeeded without having a dime in their pocket.

I needed this. I need to do this too. I’m living in North Carolina where I was born and grew up and I’ve just reached a point where it’s not home to me anymore. I don’t think my soul has ever felt at home here but I’m just now coming to that realization because when I visited California in July last year and then just a few weeks ago the beginning of February it really hit me that I need to be out there. My soul feels at home there, it feels free and happy and all the good things. But I’m completely alone in this, my family isn’t really supportive of the idea, my boyfriend certainly isn’t supportive of the idea and I just, I’m not happy here anymore and I am out there. I’ve wanted to move to California for like 10 years now but it’s always just been a dream rather than a needed thing. Now I think it’s absolutely got to happen, I just don’t know how to make it happen :(
