That is awesome you have $1,000 extra every month. Now pay that last off and set a challenge if you want something pay for it with cash!! YOU CAN retrain your brain just make it a fun challenge. Trust me when you pay something in cash you think twice and ask yourself do I really want this or do I want to save for something else. The more you do this the easier it gets and it’s actually fun to set a cash envelope just for fun things you want!

Hi Kate, congrats again on 400! Thank u for the freebie! Yessss love seeing the 4 pay go lower and lower is motivating. I've never used 4 pay so question bc they've stuck around longer than I thought they would since u got them in July.. is it not 4 weekly payments evenly dispursed? Or are some 4 months and some 4 weeks? I thought it was broken into weeks..
Thank you and you’re welcome. So it depends on the company you uses. Most of them are paid off in 6 weeks. I am just horribly impulse when it comes to spending. So a few new ones get added into the mix. My bf and I will start transitioning. Any new four pays to come out of our spending money rather than out of the bill account. so to answer your question some of them are six weeks. Some of them are six months and then we did have some that were for a full year. It really just depends on which company you use and how much the purchases.
My problem is affirm they can give you up to 12 mths to pay. I am finally paying all off in November
Oh, I know we had bought tires through a firm and it was for 12 months and it was one of our higher for pay and we just recently I think in August finally paid that off.

Thank you for sharing this video. I heard a statistic the other day that buy now pay later is making a fortune and growing more and more every year. I've used them in the past. They helped me transition one Christmas from using credit cards to using my debit in small payments.
Would you ever be willing to put together a summary of what it was that you purchased or examples of things you've purchased using 4-pay methods? For me it was subscription boxes, a hair straightener and the Christmas of 2021. LOL ⭐
Thank you so much. I was so excited and I’m already on my way to hitting my 500 mark. I will definitely think about doing a summary of the different things that we have purchased using the 4K payment method. But just a few examples we have used it for Christmas before. I also find that I use it when I’m buying something impulsively and because I am purchasing it impulsively in my brain that I don’t have enough to cover the full amount. My brain is just like for pay it. You can just pay small payments so that is why our foray balance got so high is purely because both my boyfriend and I are impulsive spenders and we’re really trying to get a handle on that. but I know for me it’s very difficult because I’m doing impulsively. I’m not thinking about it when I’m doing it. I always end up thinking about it when I look back and I’m trying to do the budget.
