I pull my calculator up on my phone when I walk into the store and every time I put something in the cart I add the cost. Then I know when I'm getting close to my budget. Sometimes you have to put things back, sometimes you have to choose a smaller pack or the store brand. But for me I'm better off making those decisions in the aisles. If I go over at the register I pay it to save stress and embarrassment so thus really works for me!

I love that the very first thing you do is pay your tithe before anything else is done. I see so many others who pay it, but it’s one of the last things they do. Thank you for setting an example. 💜 💵

Watching these videos show me that a debt free life is possible. All I have left is my mortgage to pay off. Discipline has become a very rewarding experience. I know if I budget my goal will eventually become a reality. People make fun of me because I have become frugual. I will get the last laugh when my mortgage is paid off and watch those people go to work when I can decide whether I want to go or not

    • @BudgetTreasures

That is amazing that you only have your mortgage left! I was just thinking about paying my mortgage off...At first it wasnt something that I wanted to do but I think I should think about it for sure...They won't be making fun of you when it's Paid in Full...😂

Words have power is a philosophy that is referencing how one should consider the context of words when directed to others. It has nothing to do with manifestation, because that isnt how life works.

I do all of this within 1 spreadsheet which takes much less effort but however you have to get it done is a win!!! If you make columns for each month of the year, list all your expenses on the left rows, then estimate out for each month across the table, you can see at any moment the spending trends amd what needs to be adjusted in 1 glance. Then plug in your pay at the top and add formulas to calculate the expenses minus the pay to let you know how much you’re expenses are each month vs how much you have left over each month, you can easily see how much you can put back and also dedicate to miscellaneous expenses. Under that, list out the rows for each pay period to see how much you actually spend on the actual and highlighted completed payment items as you go. Complete life saver all in one excel sheet. I have lived by this for decades

Great video. I do something similar each week b4 pulling my cash for stuffing. I make shore what I coming out. Double check what I spend that was not in buget. I give my self a $40 a week for my channel and support for my favorite UA-camrs. I have a bing spending issue. But that seems to be working. That way can keep on track at saving. Been doing cash system for 2 months and already started seeing the benefits. 1 visa payed off and only have 350 left on last on. So thanks for all of the great info. I have everything with set payments on auto pay in a separate account. I transfer to it first to cover everything that hits before next pay cycle. Then I pay those bills that may fluctuate through my bill pay out of another account. All in I have four functioning checking accounts at 3 different institutions. I worked in banking and know how it can happen that you bank app has issues or your account get hacked. Back ups are necessary. One account for my spending and one for my direct deposits. Haven't had a late bill or a missed payment since I split and now know exactly how much I have left or how broke I am that cycle. Lol.

I am new to your page and very much appreciated this video. I’m a holistic real estate agent making home ownership attainable and sustainable through education and application. This video will serve my clients that are working towards homeownership very well. Do you have affiliate links for the planners and binders that you’re using?
