  • A terribly shot video showing how to use a bluetooth adapter through the IP-Bus connection on a DEH-P6500.
    Steps to follow:
    1) While radio is OFF, hold the Function button to bring up menu.
    2) Go to the AUX setting and turn it ON.
    3) Connect your phone to the Bluetooth adapter.
    4) Go to the AUX source to hear your music.
Note: The bluetooth adapter needs to be hooked up to power. I suggest connecting the positive bluetooth wire to the RED accessory wire so it is only on while you have the radio on. Then connect the negative bluetooth wire to the BLACK ground wire for the radio.

were you able to still display the graphics options(dolphins, cars) while playing in aux/bluetooth?

The graphics should still work if you set a visualizer and let it sit for a few seconds. I can't test this specific unit since I sold it. I know it won't show song info but the graphics should still come on.

Yo los conecto asi porque no tengo un switch para el rojo. Es mejor conectar el rojo del bluetooth con el rojo del estereo.

Hello,i have a KEH P8600R i have connected in its AUX an official pioneer adapter (cant remember its name now..) to be bale to play MP3 from an mp3 player. But i would like to connect a BT adapter since its more convenient.Did you had any problems with it and how is the sound quality?

I sold this combo but it didn't give me any problems in my testing. It sounded good and connected easily. They aren't expensive so I'd say it's worth a shot.

@@RadiOG58 One more question if you know.My unit already has a CD changer a DSP and the pioneer AUX Adapter to connect a jack.I assume that if i remove the last one i will be able to connect it with all the rest?Or it will only work if i disconnect everything....

@@woofaki5550 I think it depends how your CD changer is connected to the head unit. The bluetooth adapter sends in a signal and the head unit sends out the signal to the DSP through the RCA jacks. I don't know how your CD changer is connected though.
