Great reaction to that fantastic song. And with this joy-radiating video the ladies send a clear message to the fans: We're more than back after a pretty critical period and are going to take all of you on a wonderful Metal journey again - count on us.
【Quotes from an interview with Miyako (G Key andPiano), Midori (G) and Haruna (Dr) for a magazine project.】 [Haruna] We recorded one by one. I usually have a high voice, but they asked me to sing in a low voice. It was easily OK'd." They said my voice sounded like a boy's." Midori has a very low voice, not quite a death voice." [Midori] I'm the one shouting in a much lower, dusky voice." Haruna sounded like a boy. She was shouting in a cool way, not in her usual kawaii voice."
Fun reaction, you guys are always entertaining. Yes, it's hard to see how there was room for them to "improve", but they seem to have leveled up, and added some stuff. I would love to see them do a whole album of other styles, with some fusion, some blues, some funk--just because I think they'd nail everything. After all, individually we know most of them have in fact played other genre.
From the album notes, the rest of the band is only credited with “gang shouts”. My money is on every vocal in the chorus being Asami. Live, yes, it’s the whole band (I sang too). The band sing along in the video is just for effect.
Ok guys, because no one has mentioned it yet - go back and check out the 2nd Verse - Where they switch instruments! (Asami-guitar, Miyako-drums(which she _can_ play), Midori-mic(she _can_ sing), Fami-guitar(she _can_ play guitar), Haruna-bass( _Nope_ ). Always love your reactions (it's why I'm subbed) :0) 🤘🐺🤘
"I did not see this coming." 😂 Lovebites syndrome. 😁 Like, "I suppose that this might become my most favorite song from them ever", after listening to yet another of their masterpieces. 😂🐺
They are Beasts. No way around it. The quality.quantity, speed and precision involved with this band is nothing short of Incredible. I generally focus on the tandem mind blow that is Miyako and Midori but in this video I am reminded that Haruna is God Level Drummer and that she hits things so fast and so well for a living she should have a World Title Belt. She is a Monster and hits the kit like she is wielding Thor's hammer.
I'm not sure if you guys have reacted to Lovebites 'Break the Wall' from the 2020 live performance, but I think you would like that one if you have not.
I think they wanted to play around like teen agers, meaning having fun, based on the platform of 80th, why not! And this is very successful to make us very happy.
Great and funny reaction guys, of my favorite female metalband. You also should try Girish And The Chronicles, a great rockband from India, playing 80's hard rock.
Great reaction guys. I loved the graphics. Things I liked about this one -- Fami's great bass intro and Midori's wicked screaming guitar intro. The ladies dressed down and having fun. The ladies exchanging instruments in the video. The guitar solo's of course. All around, a great song. Check out We Are the Resurrection, My Orion, and Soldier Stands Solitarily from this new album. Some songs have videos of the ladies reacting to the song that are fun to watch.
You did'nt notice the effects on the drums on the big entrances...? Lots of dark swirling rumbling reverby stuff on the drum punches . Serious subtle production stuff . But just on the drums .
This song is the epitome of modernizing 80's metal. The video is a blast. Great reaction. Great call on Opeth. They were my favorite band before Lovebites. Not a fan of their full-on prog direction they took.
Great editing in this reaction. Funny as always. Its a great song. All of them shine so much in this song. As far as changing their sound, i am very curious to see Fami with more input on the next album. Her playing style could add even more to the sound. I think they are the perfect combo of power,, thrash and classic metal. Theres no need to deviate from this
Yeah, I feel like they've got their musical identity well established now, they can stick to it for a while without going stale! Thanks for the feedback appreciate seeing you back! / George
Loved your reaction. So good to see LB having so much fun goofing around with each others instruments. Miyako's looking comfortable on the drums but no where as fast as Haruna though. ☺☺
You'll have to check out some songs from the Awake Again - Live From Abyss set released Decembr 2020 (during the lockdowns) if you want to see them in everyday clothes. That's in a studio setting. 13 songs on there, inckuding a Helloween cover.
Now I want to hear a Lovebites jazz album! They should do one on the side. I could imagine Nameless Warrior as a jazz tune. They always had one or two rockish audience pleasers on their albums, and this song is the resident one on the new album. I agree it's one their best, but it's not indicative of an entirely new direction. There *has* been some development of their sound, though, starting on their 3rd album Electric Pentagram and picking up with Glory, Glory To The World and Judgement Day: heavier, more speed, more power metal, less Maidenish metal. It's just as well that they apparently strive to modernize into a genre that is still current; if you rely on classic Maidenish metal, your fan base will die on you.
Thanks for the reaction. Once you got to "Stand and Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)" and you liked the song (and I liked your reaction 👍), it's time to check out 😉 : LOVEBITES - "Raise Some Hell" (Five of a Kind, 21/02 /2020). Both songs are written by Asami & Miyako
Well guys, what did you think of Fami? Fami is not fully integrated into their music yet. Midori worked on those squeals and taught Miyako how to play faster during their hiatus. They were performing in a rehearsal studio. Can't wait for their new album.
Great reaction to that fantastic song. And with this joy-radiating video the ladies send a clear message to the fans: We're more than back after a pretty critical period and are going to take all of you on a wonderful Metal journey again - count on us.
Fun Reaction and nice editing from you two. Thx. Lovebites is awesome as always.Gotta love them.
thanks
Your videos are always fun, especially those cats
Glad you enjoyed it!
the cats man...the cats...the freaking cats...I love the cat edits!!! great song, great reaction, but THE CATS !!! you delivered!
Ikr?! 🤣 I always love the cats. All of the edits are great, but the cats take the cake lmao
EVERYBODY LOVES THE CATS!!! :))))) / George
Lovebites always stand and deliver.
Lovebites is ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥Greetings from Argentina

Simply the best ! HARUNA !!! HARUNA !!! HARUNA !!! 🤘🐺🤘
Lovebites is the best female metal band in the world 🤘💯
It is as simple as that. 🐺
From the album notes, the rest of the band is only credited with “gang shouts”. My money is on every vocal in the chorus being Asami. Live, yes, it’s the whole band (I sang too). The band sing along in the video is just for effect.
Yes, you are correct, Asami's vocals are layered in there (I feel like I've been through this before 😂)
Well we couldn't know but thanks for the infos folks!
Ok guys, because no one has mentioned it yet - go back and check out the 2nd Verse - Where they switch instruments! Thank you very much, yeah that was a very fun bit in the video! / George
Good reaction. Their last album is absolutely extraordinary , exceptional and a masterpiece.🤘🐺🎤🎸🥁
we have more to hear from it!
"I did not see this coming." 😂 Lovebites syndrome. 😁 Like, "I suppose that this might become my most favorite song from them ever", after listening to yet another of their masterpieces. 😂🐺
One thing for sure in the chorus is that apart from the other girls' vocals, it is also a mix of Asami singing it in different pitches.
yeah you can defnitely hear multiple Asamis!
This band really can make good songs. 👍👍🤘🤘
It'll be a while, a ton of other stuff is scheduled but we'll get there! / George

Yo can you imagine actually slamming a freaking hammer through a drum kit? That would be wild! Counterproductive, but wild! / George
Great Great Great reaction Bros‼️🔥LOVEBITES AMAZING BAND🔥 🤘🏻🐺🤘🏻
Thanks a million! / George
🤘
thanks for this fine reaction, guys.

Yeah that one should happen. /Andrei
I think they wanted to play around like teen agers, meaning having fun, based on the platform of 80th, why not! And this is very successful to make us very happy.
Yeah it's a very lighthearted fun one
Great and funny reaction guys, of my favorite female metalband. You also should try Girish And The Chronicles, a great rockband from India, playing 80's hard rock.
If I could "Like" this video twice, I would.
'ey this comment counts as the second like! Thanks a ton! /Andrei
Started out with Lemmy, added some Dimebag and then all hell broke loose. That's the way I see it.
So it's a Lemmbag full of hell (i'm sorry)

Should that read “before Lovebites”?

In the US today, youngsters play Metal music solo's with Machineguns, not guitars.....
This is is there best song

that was adorable to see

LOVEBITES - "Raise Some Hell" (Five of a Kind, 21/02 /2020).
Both songs are written by Asami & Miyako
Your favorite of the new ones will be "Soldier Stands Solitarily". Remember this comment. I 100% guarantee you I am right about this.
We've got in on the pipeline
Are they becoming more thrash than power metal or is it just me?
I think they're just metal. They play whatever kinds of metal they want, really.
Apparently this is like... the stand out song on the album! / George

I imagine we'll get an EP well before a new album is recorded.
Fami is a spectacular fit. Stands out more than Miho used, more flashy playing style!
Fami Fami Fami!
Fami is really cute❤
to state the obvious hehe
